I'm looking at building an 08 or newer Crown Vic or Grand Marquis, were there any issues keeping the factory HVAC and Airbags etc? Were there any issues keeping all the factory chassis electronics working?
Damn, this was an awesome video up until fate of the vehicle. How come you didn’t just let it rust some more lol. Awesome build though. Pretty sure mines a rusty piece of crap underneath but Idc. Swapped a limited slip rear end on mine last summer and it didn’t seem too bad, definitely ain’t got no rockers though.
Great video. Thank you putting the time and effort into making it so we could enjoy it. Pretty please, with sugar on top, please make the Jag video. As well..., you wife should be sainted by now!
Did the motor mount low to the crossmember, could it have been lower? Im gonna have hood clearance issues and also want my weight low… LSA with huge lid spacer and intake spacer..
Great job man, that turned out Awesome! Do you know if the swap would be pretty much the same for an older panther platform? I have a square panther, 89 town car that I want to swap. From my understanding they are different frames and suspension though. Any advice is appreciated!
@@nsogibaWhat exactly did you have to do for the transmission crossmember? Was that the most fabricating that this project needed? (pre turbo, at least)
@@TheRealKazma I bypassed the Fuel Pump Module in the trunk. With the key on it received power and then that signal gets sent to the stock fuel pump harness. The fuel pump was on when the key was on which is "hotwired". Technically the "right" way to do it is have the GM PCM control the fuel pump. I think there is an output on the GM PCM to trigger the pump. That way, if you're in an accident, when the engine stops running the fuel pump will shut off.
@@nsogiba so in my case I’m using Holley would it be more beneficial to dig deeper and find the signal wire to the fuel pump and supply it to the ecu? And additionally with getting keyed power to the Holley would I need to splice into the ignition switch?
The Holley already provides a fuel pump output which makes it easier. Depending on how big your pump(s) are you can use that signal to trigger the fuel pump module in the trunk or just go directly to the pump harness on the tank. If you're using pumps with higher current draw you'll use that signal to trigger a relay. @@TheRealKazma
Randomly found this. Great video and now the wife tells me I don't need another car 😂. Always wanted to try the panther platform.
Hey! The front seats from this exact car are installed in my 07! Thanks again man!
The legacy lives on! Hell yeah man.
Did you continue using the original 4.6 engine mounts with the plates purchased on Amazon?

I was able to use an F Body pan and a truck intake/accessories with room to spare. Send it!
Been waiting for this video 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I gotcha brother. DIY everything!
Did you continue using the original 4.5 engine mounts with the plates purchased on Amazon?
We, the people, need the Jag video.
Working on it.

I own a 2001 with 3.27 gears do you have any extra LS motors lying around
I wanna LS3 swap my marauder. I'm in NY too. How do you cut coils?
When you changed to ls did you change trans to my ford trainy went out
I wanna do the same thing, what’s your starting price?
what did you do to modify the driveshaft?
nevermind. you just answered my question in the video
You can reuse the stock driveshaft, just need to swap out the front u joint.
I’m swapping mine and I’m using a terminator. What wiring did you retain from the factory harness?
Look at the new edge GT termi swap should be the same as p71
Awsome video… I’m working on LS swapping my grand marquis…. Can I ask how you got stock gauges to work?
Marauder cluster! I am not sure how to get a newer CANBUS style cluster to work.
hugely helpful video. Thank you
Happy to help!

The transmission fit with no fab ?
I may have had to cut an ear off the bell housing on the passenger side. The tunnel and body didn't need any modification. Hope that helps
@@nsogiba thanks man FBO 4.8 swapped 07 marquis be done next week. Thanks for the info man !
@@jamescadle5863 let's goooo! Post pics and a burnout video!
@Norbert Ogiba any modifications making the trans fit ?
No changes to tunnel, I think I cut an ear off the 80E bellhousing.
Bro where u 560?
Sold in December 2015! It changed hands a few times and is now flat black with a modified interior, I think.

@@nsogiba how did you get key and fuel pump wired in? I’m kinda hitting a brick wall with the wiring part ?
