It is such a welcome change to see language learning videos made by somebody who actually seems to know what they are doing. I am a language teacher by profession and UA-cam offers a wealth of opportunities for language learners to practise. The downside is that there are SO many channels made by people who seem to think that just a knowledge of the language qualifies them to teach it. Most of them are abysmal with no structure or thought. Nico is either a trained teacher or just more aware than most of the way a language should be presented. She's actually given thought to what vocabulary she teaches and in which order and what grammatical structures she wants to present. It's all done in context too so you don't just learn a random word, you learn it in a sentence. The little videos are sweet and even their corniness actually helps you remember them!! If you're serious about learning Romanian properly I'd advise getting her book too. I've been learning Romanian for a couple of years but her grammar explanations helped me understand a few things more clearly. Great work, Nico. 👍
Hey Bob, thank you very much for your awesome feedback! So happy to hear that you like my project and that you find it useful. Your words of appreciation mean a lot to me. Btw, I am a trained teacher - I have studied how to teach Romanian to foreign speakers at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. 😉
