As a Cuban, I invite you all to try to live here with the average wage, no family abroad that could help you with some money and living outside Havana City. That's the only way for you, dear foreigners, to realize the nature of the 11J protests. Like if everything was alright here for people not having any reasons for protesting 🙄. Don't give up the fight, if you truly think its bad, it will get exponentially worse if US gets involved. China is on the rise and is already starting to help Cuba grow. It'll happen soon, but give it time, hope is alive once again!
Dude, I have a wife with 2 kids, she works at Provincial Housing Direction and I am an IT, we have zero businesses, we don´t sell anything, we don´t have family abroad, we live only with our salaries, and we live well, she buys some of the stuff we need in tuenvio, and the other stuff we get is what they sell from the notebook, the service stores and private markets. I don´t know what you´re talking about. As I recall the protests were because of the blackouts, which have been solved and because the US was giving money to the protesters to do so, or is it that you are blind enough not to see their propaganda on facebook, I think I remember seen one that said they would give 100 dollars to anyone that would break a store´s window, and 200 to the one that destroyed a police car. The ones that are in jail it´s because of vandalism, if they are brave enough to destroy stuff, then they should be brave enough to assume the consequences. If you want to do a protest, don´t be stupid and give the police a reason to arrest you, protest peacefully and nothing should happen to you. Pfff.
Revolution may be crazy but necessary as the last resource. Change should be made for the better and not for the worst.,. usually it's for a better life and living conditions, isn't it? Well, look at what's going on today in Cuba after 60 years. Terrible 😔 economically, it's a disaster 😂 another revolution in the horizon is coming and badly needed.
As, a person that still has family stuck in Cuba, this is just repulsing. Want to know why Cuba looks like it is stuck in a time capsule? It is ! Thats when Cuba stopped progressing. Americans are so naive.
So we are now glorifying a monster in history? Look at his role in the establishment of labour camps, the execution of political prisoners without trial, and the suppression of dissent in post-revolutionary Cuba. His ideological commitment to revolutionary struggle led to armed conflicts in various countries, contributing to instability and violence. While revered by some as a symbol of anti-imperialism and social justice, Guevara remains a divisive figure, criticized for actions considered authoritarian and in violation of human rights. It's so sad we are trying to find the positives in a person and system that caused so much human mystery that people have been fleeing for generations.

Go go BRICS + 6
"The economics of revolution" is a $150 book. What good is a book about revolution if only the bourgeois can afford it? 🤨
As, a person that still has family stuck in Cuba, this is just repulsing. Want to know why Cuba looks like it is stuck in a time capsule? It is ! Thats when Cuba stopped progressing. Americans are so naive.
They survived not sure they thrived
If you are American you don't what is truly important to thrive because you are just interested in convenience!!!
I don’t know. Alot of Cubans I know here, says it sucks ass over there. They only miss their families.
Big Fat Daddy US is
the best places are places that arent the west
Lol
Cuba should use AI hosts like China.
I CAN SEE THAT YOU MUSSLE THEBCOMMENTS YOU DONT LIKE THE TRUTH HURTS !!!!!
This is among the best socialist UA-camrs I always watch. Is Helen the daughter - or related to- David Yaffe? He took me to Paul Matick and I published a book 45 yrs sgo {I'm 76 now) about Marx. Mattick and capital accumulation annexing a traduction of Yaffe's great note.
