I HATE salons that try to sell me stuff while captive in the chair. It's uncomfortable and aggressive. I cannot imagine someone pressing me to buy something completely irrelevant like insurance 😅 Its nuts

The most bizarre concept of a salon business
I know right!? There was another episode she did where a salon was run by all men (mostly gay I think) and it was called "Chicago Male". They didn't want to do womens hair but they were a salon, and Tabitha was like "At that point you would be better off a Barbershop than a Salon, cause if your not doing women's hair, no wonder you're losing money!" I think it's funny how everyone thinks she's a bitch, I'm Australian and this is pretty normal for someone in this industry or within our country's workforce to have this very serious particular attitude towards people.

Oh lord, I was gobsmacked when the invites included Obama and Schwarzenegger! Talk about ambitious but also delusional! Seeing Tabatha actually laughing made me realise she’s actually human, she’s just so stern all the time, quite rightly so too…she’s a miracle worker. I’d shit myself if she ever arrived at the salons I worked in! I wouldn’t have the confidence if she were there

My husband and I work together, there are a few arguments occasionally, but nothing mind blowing and certainly not at our business. We opened our business a little under a year after meeting and married 3 years later. If you are a stylist or receptionist who says: ‘I don’t clean’., you should be fired on the spot! You clean up after yourself (including in the back and the break room.) And if there are no hired cleaners, YOU darn well do part of the general cleaning as well! The girlie who ‘took out the trash’ should have been fired the second she walked back in the door! What a spoiled brat.
Why does a husband and wife both need to be there, he wants to be a salesman, go and get another job and have two incomes, that would make sense to me.

Nothing wrong with leaving some well thought out and designed brochures about his businesses, and some cards - on the reception desk BUT you do NOT go through and pester the hair salon clients! Nothing wrong with even having a receptionist and reception area for both businesses BUT the moment Frank steps into the salon it is salon business ONLY!
