I play with wants and fears, and I love it. The wants and fear are based on personality traits, needs, and aspirations - if you neglect the aspirations for too long, your sim will be afraid they're being controlled by someone else and won't be able to fulfill their aspirations. It's a reminder of the path I set for them in CAS, plus I get lost of aspiration point for doing what the sim wants/needs.
I don't know if it is the best, but it has been the best we had in a long time--the live stream that is. 2 hours is way too long and I am hoping that the reason why they didn't go through everything is because they had too much to show us. I think they were going for spooky and bubbly vibes in which they paired people together like Jessica and Magan (I hope I got her name right), but I think they should have chosen one or the other. Say when they went through the gameplay use the spooky people, but CAS and Build Buy, the bubbly people, then when they showed the world back to the spooky people. What I am looking forward to building my cemeteries and playing as a ghost. What I really would have liked for them to do is to include the lore from Romania into the world, that would really be something. Such as the spooky forest, Dracula's castle, the witch's well, and the many other sights. If they did it would be enough to fill two packs--which I now realize is probably why they didn't, but nevermind now, we could probably do it in a let's play or save file. Looking forward to getting Spooky With It!!
I'm usually super negative about Sims packs. I can guarantee with 100% certainty you can find these comments of mine on other Pixelade videos. I know we're all thinking the funerals will be buggy, and that's likely true. But I don't think that's why they didn't show a lot. They spent about as much time on the funeral as they did with the grimtern job. I genuinely think they just didn't want to show us too much this time. I haven't tried MWS since the fix myself, but people were saying Sims behave much better during weddings, so I'm more likely to believe that they'll (hopefully) not do pushups in front of the casket, at least
I’m looking forward to a little bit of everything. But what I’m really excited for are the funerals, creating will, choosing heirlooms and creating proper cemeteries. Also some of the clothing would be perfect for my decade challenge.😄👻

I sat there & watched that 2 hour developer game play last night. I simply cannot believe they did not create a new lot cemetery lot type. I just I don't understand that. So sims die that's not in your household you still can't figure out where the heck they're tombstones are in the world. they haven't fixed that. What's the purpose of buying that pack? NOPE. I'll pass.
I don't know. I really don't understand any of the excitement about Life and Death. I don't think it's one of best. I think the free update contains some things that should have been part of the base game from the beginning. I don't care about the exclusive pack things. Who cares about being death's intern, for F's sake? I'm expecting that funerals will be just as broken as all the other custom events STILL ARE. Well, some people clearly care about those things but I really don't. I like that we have control over sim inventories now when they die out of active household. That was always annoying to me. It's nice that we have control over ghosts but I doubt I'll be using that much. It's nice, I guess, to have different urns and headstones but again, free, not in the pack. This is a pack that people are raving over now for some reason, then in three months will be bitching about because it's "sooooo broken". I wish they would just FIX THE GAME SO IT WORKS ALL THE TIME. You know, like all the other games in my library of games do? Maybe I'm also just exhausted by the constant creation of more and more DLC with this game while it remains fundamentally flawed. You know what would be nice? If they'd put out updates that occasionally gave us different movies for sims to watch or changed some interaction animations so that we were surprised and delighted by gameplay.
Honesty doesn't feel like we have gotten such a lore-rich expansion pack since strangerville!

Funerals were cut short because they are as buggy as the other events, new dates and weddings.

There are no graveyards. You can just plop down those things on an existing lot. There's no lot type called graveyards
