You've just witnessed their greatest performance EVER, not only of this particular song. Damiano was moved to tears, the audience was moved, the orchestra was spectacular, Ethan (the drummer) was on fire, everything was just perfect. And yes, you got the point of the story, very sad and with no happy ending. Great reaction, I hope to see more.
I’m so glad you react to this masterpiece. That night in Italy we cried with Damiano. This version it’s unique because there’s the arrangements with the orchestra and the last part with only violins and the painful Damiano’s voice makes everything simply unforgettable. The song it’s so sad and touching, genius and beautiful. Listen to the album version. You’ll see the difference. 🤗 Can’t wait for the next! Personally I prefer the Italian songs. IWBYS and Mammamia are too young for me😅.
This song is so perfect. And this performance is flawless. Even little mistake when Vic's bass was untuned for a couple seconds makes this performance perfect.
Great reaction! Damiano, the singer writes all the lyrics, and this song is very personal for him. This is his most emotional performance, but he is always very emotive when performing this piece. He has said that as an artist he hopes to touch others with the songs, and wants people to have their own reaction and interpretations of the lyrics. He does this so well by using metaphors and symbolism, and being a little vague at times. I think he is a bit of a prodigy in his poetry. So just like you have a personal reaction to this song, so do I, for similar but different issues. Yes the themes are mental health, anxiety, child abuse, depression, hope and despair. A true masterpiece in IMHO. And it still makes my eyes water.
Thank you. That is the sign of a great song, different people interpret the lyrics differently. I agree with you, I believe he may be a prodigy and this song really is a masterpiece. Being vague sometimes allows listeners to have their own interpretations because he’s not always being so specific. Brilliant absolutely brilliant.
Hello my friend. Thanks for your reaction. Contrary at other Maneskin ballads, this is not a double sense story, but a real one. Coraline it's a fantasy name for a real girl. Not a happy ending story... in this video you can see the real emotion in Damiano, who known "coraline" in his real life. The part cutted from this video, from the Sanremo festival, would show you Damiano crying at the end.
Hello, my friend. It was truly my pleasure. This is a great song that I will listen many times. The emotion in it is so strong. Knowing that it is true makes it even stronger.
Hi! ...And once again I`ve got tears in my eyes! ....Every time I see this performance! Puh! .... You should have seen the video till the very ending. Damiano was crying for himself! Oh, I see, I`m not the only one who says this!
I'm so happy it touched your soul like it did with me, this song can be painful but is a really sweet kind of pain, and is the kind of sentiments a work of art should inspire.
you're a beautiful soul 🤍thank you it was a great great reaction! that night we all cried , damiano was crying so hard he couldn't stop it was heartbreaking! he tried to make universal lyrics but it was dedicated to a person close to him (probably his girlfriend that suffers of chronic pain) he took that story so everybody could relate to it. I'm agoraphobic so "she's wants the sea but is afraid of the water;; BUT MAYBE THe sea is inside her , she can't even get out of a stupid door ".. it speaks to me so hard ! that's the beauty of that song! the last part is more specific and i think the abuse is clear and that's what damiano wanted us to understand .
Thank you! ❤️ The song is so universal. While the song is specific, it is also very universal. It spoke to me one way due to my experiences and I’m sure others have related differently based on their experiences all while we can understand what he is singing about. I will be telling a lot of my friends to listen to this song. I am sorry that you suffer Angoraphobia. I used to have panic attacks. I overcame them. I grew up with a ton of mental issues that I’ve had to deal with. I actually released a video awhile back about my mental issues. I help everyone I can using my technics. Please take care of yourself.
@@SixxDaze I sent it myself to friends who don't really like the band and who loved the song. Thank you very much! Oh panic attacks I know them too well. I have been doing a therapy that has been working on me for a few months after having tested hypnosis, reiki, behavioral therapy, meditation for years.. It is based on emotional legacies, wounds that are reproduced from generation to generation.. And everything made sense. Now I'm much better but I have to rebuild a social life. there is always hope ,sometimes it only takes one person, a word, a book to see what seems hopeless as a start and not the end of everything. i'm happy you overcame all of it ! i'll watch your video tomorrow !! take good care of you too!
@pitikiwi01 I am so glad you got help. You are absolutely right, sometimes it only takes some little something to help someone. Once they find their hope, it helps them start building a better life. Thank you. Have a great evening.
Thank you for the reaction, I'm glad you could feel the song and understand it. I've grown to be a bit scared of Coraline reactions because I get a bit mad when some people just don't get it! 😄 It's a very important song to me. But I've seen a few of your reactions so I dared and was not disappointed. Damiano said in a recent interview that they are surprised how a ballad, in Italian and 5 minutes long has become one of their most listened songs internationally. He is selling his poetry short! Obviously it is also great instrumental work from the others. I think there is a wide fan consensus of this orchestra version being the best live version of Coraline so far, the emotion was so raw. (Btw, I like the way you end your videos, important stuff.)
@Minea M WOW! Thank you so much, for taking a chance on my reaction and your kind words. His lyrics are amazing. I definitely felt them and related to them on a personal level. I honestly believe and practice what I preach in the end of my videos. People that know me know that I make people laugh every single day and I never leave without telling my family that I love them. Thank you again for watching and your kind words. Have a great evening.
Forget everything you've been told around here. the reality is that damiano wrote this song and he said that coraline is his girlfriend. she suffers from a rare disease that causes her a lot of pain and the doctors and her close people never believed her, telling her that she should visit a psychologist. I have been reading about this disease and I have seen that 70% of women who suffer from it cannot have children because they suffer abortions when they become pregnant. Now read the lyrics and you will see how you understand everything. Damiano is the support, the sword, who encourages her to continue and gives her strength and in return does not ask for anything, just a smile. he cried singing this song in sanremo and on his twitter he made it clear that it was because his girlfriend, coraline, was in the audience listening to it
This is a supposition. Damiano never said this. He thanks Giorgia for "let him able to wrote this song" Giorgia suffers for this illness, that's true, but if you hear or read the lyrics of Coraline, you can't find similitudes with her.
You keep struggling with the name, but it really doesn't matter. 😍Nice reaction and I know the effect Coraline has, the first time you listen to it. But also the others.🙂 The band's lyricist is Damiano and he is definitely very good.
Thank you. I really did watch a video right before I shot this of the whole band saying it different ways. I am looking forward to more from them. He really is amazing.
you should react to palaye royale, similar vibe to måneskin and yungblud but also very different (mr doctor man or punching bag are pretty good starting songs)

It really is. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Thanks for your reaction! This is my favourite song from Måneskin
I truly enjoyed this song. I can understand why it's your favorite.
Not sure if Coraline is Giorgia. Probably a friend of her.
Amazing...emozional...great Maneskin🔥🔥🔥

Hi Sixx, very amazing song , Go Maneskin . i'm subscribed😎
Hello! Thank you!
Wonderful reaction, thank you! Loved it❤️
Thank you! ❤️
Very, very good. This is so
high-level lyrics and at least
like 5 different guitar-ideas
put into one piece. Thx.
This is a masterpiece. Thank you.
This is a real story about the abuse of a father towards his daughter. This hasn't an happy end. The "Castle" is the Cemetery close Rome!😢
Beautiful reaction.💫
Thank you.
Great true reaction, you are great!
Thank you!
Gracias por la información.

@enobbob1 I added it to my list.
Great song! But I can't with this live version. Too much emotional for me. So strong!
It is a very emotional song. My personal issues made it even more emotional for me.
them leave from sanremo as winner, e return back as international very big stars.... if you are maneskin is so easy
