- One of my favorite sea shanties. It's difficult to find lyrics for this version of the song, but I believe I managed to get it accurate. Enjoy.
I do not own the music nor the picture.
It's pretty interesting that there's actually 2 different versions of this song. One from the POV of the English Man 'O' War and the other from the Pirate perspective. But in both versions the Pirate ship actually loses. The only thing that really changes is what the captains said to each other.
DELIGHTFUL! I savor the contrast between the jaunty tune, energetically sung, and the sad fate of the pirates. Nice work!
