Working illegally is working illegally, fair enough, however if they are working, earning, paying their own way, not costing us anything, contributing to the economy, providing a service, not involved in crimes such as drug dealing etc, surely they are the bottom end of priority for removal, whilst tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are being put up in hotels at tax payers expense, costing a fortune, contributing nothing, draining the economy, or disappearing in to thin air to commit far more serious crimes to remain undetected, going after folks trying to make money doing respectable jobs will only drive them underground once word spreads, this seems a cart before horse approach, a gimmick just to be seen to be doing something in my opinion.
Getting tough? I'll believe that when I see it. As for EU citizens, surely all they have to do is claim asylum on the same terms as the boat people.

It's an impossible issue to tackle, you have the EU issue, and then you have the boat invaders who are increasing, coming in on a daily basis, it's ABSOLUTE CHAOS, CONTROL IS COMPLETELY LOST
It really isn't that difficult to work and claim UC. I would encourage anyone to do it if you can. Austerity has rendered to tentacles of the state completely impotent. In fact, if you're working as a labourer (cash in hand) and you're not claiming UC, you're daft.
Why aren’t you doing this to them in the hotels don’t they have to be sorted out to .does not make any sense really you running round after those people from EU countries that shouldn’t be working but you pick the boat people up and put them in hotels that shouldn’t be here either they have all got a life of luxury. They don’t have to pay for electric gas food or anything and I’m sitting here crying I’m so cold my tax money is paying for those people . Well I will not be voting for Tories or Labour ever again. My vote now will be going to reform, UK 😢😢😢😢
