I've been using square journals for years. I just get b5 or a4 sized traveler style journal inserts and then take them to any local print shop and have them cut them to 7.5 x 7.5 inch square. They only charge me $1 per journal and I've even had them cut a 300 page soft cover a4 dotted notebook down to a square. Takes a second and it's a professional and perfect cut. People always ask me where I buy my square journals since they don't realize I just have them cut that way.

I'm in my second month using a square and I really like it so far! I write big and I track a lot of stuff so the extra space makes things less cramped.

something i do is just practice pencil sketching for my cover pages, i may not color or paint them but the extra space is awesome for it

Ahhhhh… so many great ideas. I bought the beautiful AnO embroidered square journal to use as a baby book for my first grandchild due in late July. Been collecting art, washi and other embellishments for the book, but was kind of stuck on where to start on actual pages. I’ll be watching this over and over to take notes. Everything from the first (fill in the blank), the first 24 books read to baby, fave foods, bingo board for major events, calendars etc. etc!

Firstly, that Washi/PET tape is gorgeous! It looks like it might be from the Washi Tape Shop, so that's where I'll be heading in a minute...! I really loved Monica's reading journals, and also how you've been using your square day to day journal. I ended up with journal envy, so bought a square journal from the latest A&O release, for my own reading journal. (The postage from the US was a little eyewatering, but I have no regrets!) I've been really enjoying the extra space for decoration, and as your video so beautifully demonstrates, there are so many opportunities! The only problem is now I want a square journal for my next day to day journal! I mean, do I really need another journal?!? Probably not! Am I gonna get one?! Heck yes!! 😂 P.S. I am a wizard!

I will like to make a budget friendly recommendation for a square journal just in case, Buke Notebooks sells them and they are beautiful, the only con is that they have 168 pages but that is fine depending on what will you use it for❤ I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND IDEAS❤❤

I got a square journal from archer & olive. It came apart my first time using it. They sent a replacement but I expect the same problem

I bought a novelty notebook in a random shop in Barcelona. the size is larger than a B5, more A4 and I have no idea what to do with so much space! Even B5 were too big for me, but I thought it was funny that I had a mega sized bullet journal. But I don't want it to sit on my shelf, so.... do you have any ideas for unusual-sized notebooks like that?

Did you ever create a page in jour R&D Journal that you are a bit sorry, that you could not really use it in your journal?

Hi Jashii! Can you help me please? I would really want to buy a square, dot grid journal but can't find any. :( I searched all the links you listed and others but all of them are out of stock. Do you have any idea where to find one? Amazon has options but no reviews, so I'm not sure they are good. I prefer a 5*5mm grid. Thank you for your advice!

I wish I could find a decent square one on Amazon or from a UK retailer, they look so cool (and could save space if I could squish 2 spreads on one page). I can’t justify the shipping from the states xD
Good news - Suteki Stickers and Under the Rowan Tree, two UK shops, are now going to be stocking A&O notebooks!
I was going to say the same thing that @VeganOrganizer has said! Under the Rowan Tree is getting A&O journals at some point this month from their Cabinet of Curiosities range, and you can sign up to be notified when they come in stock. It looks like the square journals will be about £35, and you get free postage for orders over £50, and even under £50 postage has been reasonable for my purchases. 😊
