Agree I wish whenever they perform in a festival or KCON they at least add one ballad on their performances cause some people think they are rap heavy upbeat group who always have diverse combination of genres in one song which is not bad at all and I love those but they also have songs like Secret, secret , Cover Me and etc all these beautiful ballads that showcase how even more of a great of vocalist they ALL are.
They sang ballad at their concerts unveil in korea and japan last month ( leave) and showed their vocals (blind spot, dlc, their solo songs, their japanese songs, etc)
Changbin wrote the lyrics. He is so much more than just a rapper. This is truly one of my absolute favorite songs by them. It sounds so amazing. It makes me emotional, just listening to the vocals. Let alone the lyrics. 😢 Have you reacted to their performance of 'I'll be Your Man' on Kingdom? It has the same effect on me as this song.
This is one of my all time fave SKZ songs and never ceases to make me cry, so I feel you my brother from another mother ❤. Bcuz why does Han Jisung slay this song and filet our hearts into sushi though? Ok sry for the bad jokes but in all seriousness they all absolutely slayed this song but Han, filleted this, marinated this, grilled this and ATE this song and nobody can convince me otherwise. His vocals were otherworldly!
One of my favorite ballads of them honestly , if not my favorite , i was in tears too the first time i saw it. The Hyunjin rapping over Han belting that note would be my favorite part i think but the entire song is a masterpiece honestly And when i saw you almost in tears right at the beginning, i was thinking " oh boy they're not ready for the rest " 😅
That Han and Seungmin harmony at the end ALWAYS gives me goosebumps. I love their ballads. Each of then has a unique and distinctive voice you can immediately pick up (except maybe Changbin, he always catches me off gard). I recommend Secret Secret and Sorry I love you… expect ther same effect ❤

And you just dropped this song too! I just came from your Lost Me reaction. This was/is one of my favourite ballads of theirs. It revealed their vocal range in a way I’d never seen before as a relatively new Stay who was drawn in on Maniac, Thunderous and God’s Menu. It is such a beautiful song, perfect for the OST Extraordinary You. I more recently learnt that this was their first release after the 9th member (vocalist) officially left only two weeks prior. I can imagine they had probably been practicing for a while and had to rearrange the vocals and high notes. It made me love this song even more knowing how worried they were about how the fandom would accept them as OT8 (there is an entire concert recording of them with Hyunjin in tears asking the fandom to still love them 😭). I believe it was not written in full or produced by them but Changbin had a hand with the lyrics.

I was so lucky to see them perform this past summer at the fan meeting because that's when they'll do performances that fans ask for. It was life-changing live, especially now that their voices are even more mature than then.
