Spring is a whirlwind of growth and change around here, it feels hard to keep up with the shifting landscape as everything becomes green with life and bursts into bloom.
This video starts in early spring, before the vegetation has started to grow, when I can still find the old barbed wire fences strung across the land. They are scattered all over where we live, remnants of bygone ranching days, and most of them have fallen to disrepair and are a real hazard for horses. It is a life's work of mine, to slowly cut and roll all the downed wire I find. I hope that someday it will make a small difference.
The rest of the video is everyday life in spring, enjoying this beautiful planet that we get to call home.
I hope you can pause and take a few moments to let all the chaos of the world fade away and walk into nature with me.

At 1:30, I was reminded of a Norwegian saying to describe a situation were things are not moving forwards: "This is going in the direction of a hen's kick". This is the first time I've seen a hen kick up-close.

I love your Fjords, I have always wanted one! Such gorgeous scenery, I love the mountains. I lived in Colorado for a while in college and loved the pine forests. It is so beautiful. I have been able to find the beauty here in the desert of Southern Nevada as well. But there is just something about that green! Wonderful video, thank you for creating :)
