I could write a whole essay on why his AI answer is bullshit. No one would read though, so I'll just say self improving algorithms, which is what Yuri described, isn't the AI we're talking about. The second thing - computers + humans are better than just computers at chess...In the 80's or 90's we said that computers could never outsmart a human in chess. We all know that's not the case today. I don't even wanna explain why that's a stupid thing to say. In games that are basically just a lot of calculations like chess and GO we won't be able to TOUCH computers. It won't even be close. Our pathetic attempts at assisting the computer will only hinder it's ability to beat it's unassisted counterpart.
You're right but I don't really think that AI is going to have any incentive to kill anybody, AI simply doesn't have such an instinct. When people say, "Oh, AI is gonna wipe us off the face of the Earth," they're basically projecting their own hidden desires onto AI.
Interesting observation of 'synergy' btw AI & Humans... but he's not taking into account the speed at which these AI systems will operate, enabled by IOT. Keeping up with these machines...will be impossible for us at some point (probably when we would'nt be able to switch off the power!).
This woman was awful. Who picked her to interview him? How embarrassing 🙄
Yeah, she's kinda rough. I won't be surprised if she's one of those American feminazis.
Yes, she is rough, seems uneducated! Unrefined.
Idk what it was about these old tech crunch interviewers that were so awful. Watch the old Pavel Durov one. Equally as bad
I like him a lot
