What a weekend. Had to replace my carburetor. made progress on the 172, and got some work done on an upcoming project. Glad I have friends with spare parts to get me back in the air!
I've picked up 2 so far. both local adds. Mike's Corvair in California sells core motors, along with Corvair ranch. best place to find them is on a quick internet search if your pinching every penny. Otherwise give Mike a call.

How long will you keep it in the pattern with the new carb?
until I felt comfortable with the carbs performance.

I did a 2 minute full power run, then 2 pattern orbits.
