Time & Place: Padang Padang In September

September is usually when things slow down a little swell wise here in Bali, but you just never know what you'll get.
In 2020 we were on the receiving end of multiple days of solid waves in September and with the tides lining up Padang Padang had a better than average run.

Just such class and grace by the GOAT. At 1:16 he dropped in without realizing there was a surfer deeper, he dutifully took one on the head to give that rider his wave. Then, when the situations were reversed at 1:35, and again at 2:10 he graciously shared the wave, which he seems to delight in doing. Surfing is better for Kelly Slater's generosity of spirt.
