What’s your setup like now? Do you have electric? We just installed one of the Woodmizer versions at another site.

That Lt70 sure is nice. That beats the heck out of walking along with the saw head and dragging boards off by hand on my Lt35.

We have a guy that saw’s for us with a woodmizer you walk with. He’s had for 15 years we can’t convince him to get a 70. I couldn’t imaging even going back to being attached to the mills. The super 70 is a game changer.

@@americandream_89 I bought mine new in 15. It's been a tough little mill. Just like to have more production. Videos like yours make me want to trade up. Woodmizer told me back in October it was an 18 mo. Wait on one like yours though.

Hey I run a lt70 as well but currently it’s not running correctly. It runs full power for about 15-20 minutes from cold. Then just slows down to about 2/3 power, very slow. Has a few engine codes, which are
    522574 - DPF
    3719 - DPF Operator Interface
3251 - DPF Differential Pressure Sensor
    1485 - Main Relay
Wondering if you had any experience with this or had any advice, thanks

Our 22 model did the same thing or at least similar and it had a pinched wire in the loom, took us forever to find it. Have you contacted Woodmizer with this issue?

  • @jott5940

You can hang a 20l or 40l bucket on the sawdust ejection with the carrying handle, in between joints they preferably a 66 degree pipe elbow a... This works perfectly, lowest cost, hardly takes up any space, after 1 to 3 logs they empty the bucket into a tank / barrel / trailer or wherever they want to go... Alternatively, you can attach a container with dumping function as in 'Serra sawmills'... Then always empty at the beginning or end of the cut... Best use of space and material flow possible in all directions around the sawmill

      @americandream_89  Рік тому +1

Yeah I’ve seen many use a bucket 🪣
Back before we had electric and put in a conveyor. I had a Hugh box I had fabricated and we would shovel everything in it at day end. Then take the loader and empty in dust pile out back.

Man the lt 70 is sure cutting fast.
When did you change your log deck, seems like it used to be a little different, and are you using any lubricant?

    • @americandream_89

I’m always checking blade wheel/belt tension it really makes a difference on these mills. We swapped the steel beam deck out about 8-9 months back. Currently I’m using radiator fluid and water. I prefer diesel but when it’s $5 a gallon it’s wasted money.

( Europe has Bild and sell own Computer Setup near the akkuset (1/) 2 is a little better than akkuset, Name is PLC (1/) 2,
In the beginning only for Elektrik Version E25 (18,5kw) or Others (11/ 15kw)

@@jott5940 I had not heard of the PLC setworks company. I’ve always had great luck with the Wood-Mizer accuset that the mills come with. Here in America Woodmizer support is the best option in sawmill support. They have treated us so well.

Really depends. But between .40-.65 currently. You can buy the logs for between .15-.40 depending on if it will make a tie log.
