- I look into one of my rarest lenses, a pre-release 7Artisasns 28mm 1.4 for Leica M mount, only 100 were produced for reviewers but due to the criticism of the optical design and characteristics were soon replaced.

Great thoughts! The 28 1.4 is a lens that I can't get out of my head as someone that routinely runs the 28/50 combo. I am thinking about the Thypoch 28 1.4 , but it's juuuuust big enough to make me wonder if it's worth the extra stop of light.
This was beautiful! Great storytelling, aesthetic, mood! Just got yourself your 50th Sub! Lets go!🙌
Thank you so much! LETS GO!
Very well done mate, you are a natural….welcome to UA-cam 😁
Thank you so much! 🤘
Loved the presentation and the beautiful captures using this lens! Very artistic!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nicely done, how about another wild one TT Artisan 50mm f 0.95??? I have been playing with these newer Chinese lenses for the past year or so much fun without breaking the bank.
I was looking at that lens yesterday! Next review will be on the zeiss 35mm 1.4 distagon, but I’ll be on the lookout for the TT 50mm 0.95!
@@shotinsilence Yea, I just ordered one out of China so it will take a couple of weeks to show. It will join my 21mm f1.5 tt Artisan, 28mm f 1.4 7Artisans, 28mm f5.6 tt Artisan, 75mm f 1.25 7Artisans. I use them on a A7s and a Sigma fp.
Well done, deserves more views.
Thank you so much!
Connor, you’re a great storyteller. I’d love to see more of your work.
A very well made video. Looking forward to seeing more content!
Thank you so much! More coming extremely soon!
Superb first video. Thank you so much Connor. I was down by my interest in this lens and stayed because of your presentation.
Great first video! As someone else said in the comments the TTartisan 50mm 0.95 m mount is a wild but really beautiful lens with a unique rendering , I will never sell it.
Beautifully shot and highly informative. Keep it up!
Nice video this mate. Enjoyed your style and delivery. Subbed.
A well presented first video. Well done. I look forward to seeing more. And it's nice to see someone who appreciates the character of a lens.
Thank you, lens character is really one of the more distinguishing elements of an image for me! Glad you liked the video, I’m working on a few more as we speak!
I really like 7Artisans after buying the 50mm f1.05 for about $180 USD in January 2024. I shoot a ton of vintage lenses so its nice to buy a MF that doesnt need an adapter. I might just have to find this lens next.
Any chance to see how 28mm/1.4 behaves on your fuji camera in photography mode?
Yes! I am planning on doing a video about adapting M mount lenses to Fuji cameras! Coming soon!
Damning by faint praise.
field curvature is not so nice, focus plane catches far background toward the edges while focusing nearer in the middle.
But if you like it.
FE+ perform betterer in that regard, even on thinner sensors, flare resistance is disastrous.
I agree that the rendering is lovely and artistic.
New Thypoch Simera 28mm F1.4 seems nice.
Those are beautiful flares❤
Thanks for sharing
Great video
Thank you!
If only they made this lens smaller and calibrated out of the box it would be perfect !
Absolutely, my next video review looks at an even bigger lens for m-mount!
Still don't get it, for the price it feels a bit like a false advertisement.
