Gorgeous, sensitive, heartfelt, rhythmic - all with a dazzling technique! Can't wait to hear him live in April at the Wigmore Hall, playing this and Musorgsky's Pictures.

La mejor versión de estas danzas que he escuchado hasta hora. La tercera de ellas un poco demasiado rápida para mi gusto.

Pieza MUY difícil, sobretodo si no se es argentino o uruguayo.
O si, al menos, se investiga a fondo el folclore sudamericano y más precisamente el rioplatense...
Marta Argerich lo suele tocar muy rápido y pasional...
Otros recaen en la timidez o el tecnicismo.
Ginastera era un compositor exigente e implacable.

Absolutamente de acuerdo...ni lo uno...ni lo otro.- El exceso de tcnicismo NUNCA es música...ni menos aún musical.-

Great performance. Especially the 3rd movement. He used interestingly different phrasing in parallel passages in the exposition and recapitulation.

Too fast all the parts.
Hhahah better not look for the versions of Argerich and Sergio Tiempo. They are much faster than this version. This version is very well played, it is not easy what the pianist did :)
I think the tempo is perfect. Slower it becomes something quite unpleasant to hear but at this speed or even a bit faster its actually great if you are not afraid of something a bit wilder and different than normal classical music.
1 is marked at that tempo. 2 would drag any slower. 3 has no rules.
Que falta de respeto tocar sin barbijo delante de la tercera edad en esa epoca. Ni que fuera cornista o cantante.
Pero lo de que es un patio exterior y de que está a una distancia de seguridad, ademas de que no está con la boca cerrada no se habla no?
