Lil' Bits buckling that went to DaNelle (for those who don't know...that's how she spells it) Weed Em n Reap is so cute and doing well. They've name him Zorro because of the 'Z'-like streak on his head. Thanks for showing us all of the herd in this segment. Wishing Crystal and all the Mom's human and animal alike a wonderful and Happy Mothers' Day
I like that you decided to whether the one buckling who doesn’t quite meet good breeding standards rather than letting the new owners make that decision. That is one of the signs of a responsible breeder!
Hi Crystal. Just another perfect video. So very cool having you hold each baby and remind us which mama they belong to, behavior traits and close ups of their ‘adorableness’ (not a word but fits them exactly)! I bet snuggling with them as u do is a huge stress reliever. Precious babies all. And as so many of us have commented, watching Emily tear around their playpen, playing Catch Me If you Can, is heartwarming and smile producing, ear to ear. And also great for HER long, athletic legs!
I swear if I had a farm I would be making the trip there to buy your goats for sure. Those babies are growing so much. I am praying for the two little ones that are feeling well. Happy Mothers Day Crystal and all of the mom's who watch your videos.
The kids are growing like weeds!!!!! Time has gone by so fast since they were born!!! Thanks for another awesome video Crystal!!! Can't wait to see you making cheese again!!!
Your hair is just gorgeous. I love seeing it almost as much as seeing the goats. Wish I had raised goats before we sold our farm and moved into town. Getting old is the pits but better than the alternative I guess. Love your videos. Keep it up.
I was hoping to see ya'll shaving the ~CraZies~ lol. I hope to get a buckling from you next year. We are having our first two Nigerian doelings delivered to us in June once they are weaned. Super excited!
Yes, I love that and would love to hear about the personalities of the whole herd again. You could do a video on the personalities of the those and a video for the bucks or just one video. Hearing about their personalities is one of the things I love from your channel.
The kids and dams look wonderful, Crystal! I'm glad you're keeping Lacy's babies....next year I hope you keep May's kids. Her bucking and doeling are gorgeous! Impressed how you determined that one buckling should be weathered, due to foot alignment issues --- trust those eagle eyes! This is the kind of evaluation every herd needs. You are one hard working Herd Mama! Emily, good job exercising the kids --- and Darren, your camera work is awesome. Weed em and Reap need a trifecta of BCDG animals.
Sad that the two kids are struggling a little bit. Definitely hoping and praying that they will pull through completely. Glad you guys know what to look for to catch that stuff early. I'm glad that all the momma goats are doing well! Happy mothers day to you Crystal have an amazing day!
Happy Mother’s Day Dear Crystal you look great and your baby daughter too. How is dear Iris and I know you want to keep Iris to yourself. I’m gonna move out with you for the cheddar cheese with the jalapeño yum, yum. I’m so jealous and you all got it made.get some sunscreen for you sweet girl and apply gently to see how she does. Laci play it by ear with the cream some takes it better than others. I burn easy in the summer with sunscreen so I have to put it in spots. Does Lodi like to burn. She’s got a lovely coat with those cute short legs. I enjoy watching your herd. I do plan to join the association so I can get out there and enjoy the fun. Do they know who their mom is? Omg he took the Vets pants down? You’re not going to kid Dawn anymore? He reminds me of a chocolate tootsie roll. That’s Zorro. Ok sweeties y’all take it easy. Love you dear Crystal. 💕.
Good Morning!! I hope you and your family are doing Awesome!! The goats look great, beautiful herd!! Love little Lodi, she is such a pretty baby!!Happy Mothers Day Crystal!! I hope you have an amazing and relaxing day! I always look forward to your vlogs! Stay Safe and Stay Awesome! ❤🌹🌹
Hi crystal today I feel more confident and energetic by watching your video . Crystal your voice is so cute like an angel ya you must be an angel your family is also from heaven I think so because your behaviour is so kindly like a mother 💕🐐 my best wishes with you God will always bless you and protect you and will give you prosperity in your wealth ✝️
Lodi "Look what I can do" was ready for her close up! I love how all your goats have those tassel/fan looking tales. Your knowledge, compassion for each and every animal you have keeps me looking forward to each video you make! Lodi for President 2020!
We are now a farm , thank you for such an informative channel . I am going through your videos and they have helped us so much ! Hoping one day to purchase from your farm some goats 🐐 thank you again !
I have a mini Alpine “Little Bit”. She has a vaginal prolapse that had to be put back in and sewn shut. She is 2 years old. I am a helicopter mom so I am with her a lot. I don’t want her to go into labor and me not be there to cut that shoelace and be there to help her. Very worried. 😞 I would have never known what was happening if I didn’t watch your videos. So thank you for the knowledge you shared.
Hey 👋 crystal the goats 🐐 look 👀 so beautiful 😍 it’s got to feel good to get that hair off. How is Dawn doing is she feeling and looking good. Good to see you and your family God Bless all of you 🙏🙏🌺👍🇺🇸🦋🌸🌜🌻🌹🌷🌞🌝🌈🌑By the way crystal your hair is so beautiful. We had ❄️ snow ⛄️ on the ground this am.
I just bought culture from the homesteaders supply... for yogurt hopefully all goes well with my first yogurt now that I got over milk issues lol ... it is suppose to come out good in the instapot looking forward to yogurt video ..
With your kids do you sell them for a specific breeding programs to other breeders or do you sell them to people who just want them as a pet. Your goats are so beautiful. I love watching them.
Hey Crystal! Thank you so much for all the work you put into making these videos. I'm just getting started with our goat herd. Do you know if the ADGA will still do Linear Appraisals this year? I want to get our 2 does appraised and see who we need to breed to in order to improve our lines. I'm also hoping to purchase a buck or doe from you in the next couple of years! 😊💕
Do you ever have a problem after giving the cdt shot, that a little knot develops on some of the goats? We have had this problem two years in a row now! This year we went to sooooo much precautionary measures to ensure we didn't get the knots(which can eventually lead to an abcess), and we still had half the heard get them! Any thoughts?
This may sound silly to ask. Mainly because I’m a new subscriber, but when you retire your does and bucks even, what do you do with them? I’ve seen your videos explaining about your wethers, but when your does and bucks are retired from breeding, do you process them, or let them live out their lives in your pastures? You’ve been another inspiration to me to want to start having goats of my own in the future. Haha I don’t think I could live without them. 😂
It depends! If they have had many productive years for us, they get to retire and live out their lives! If it is a doe that wont produces, and may as wel be a wether, it's a different story. It costs a lot of money to raise and feed these animals. Some earn their keep, but not all.
I want to get into making hard goat cheeses like Jack and cheddar. I appreciate the information you offer. I believe I can press the cheese and have a storage cabinet. It is in the basement. I just don't know if the conditions there (low humidity, dark, cool) is good for the cheese to age.
I will be purchasing some clippers here soon! What do you use for your fencing? Is it easy to put up and keep all the goats in? Looks like some type of hot wire. How many strands? Sorry for all the ?
Who else, besides me, loves this channel?
Me !!! I have learned so much !! I now have two goats and want more !! I hope I can find a mentor I now want Nigerian dwarfs on my heard.
Lil' Bits buckling that went to DaNelle (for those who don't know...that's how she spells it) Weed Em n Reap is so cute and doing well. Yes Zorro is doing great with them. I watch all of their videos as well.
It is so nice to be able to follow Zorro as he grows up with Weed'Em n Reap. Great way to get my goat fix on both these great channels!
I like that you decided to whether the one buckling who doesn’t quite meet good breeding standards rather than letting the new owners make that decision. That is one of the signs of a responsible breeder!
A buck needs to be exceptional! 😁

Yes. You must have missed it.

What do you do for coccieda prevention and cure?
can you do a video on how to shave a buck and other stuff too like you do with the does ?
We have several of those videos but will be doing the boys again soon.
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats ok thanks
With so many babies how can you tell who is who and from what mom?
I want to get into making hard goat cheeses like Jack and cheddar. I appreciate the information you offer. I believe I can press the cheese and have a storage cabinet. It is in the basement. I just don't know if the conditions there (low humidity, dark, cool) is good for the cheese to age.
For those cheeses about 80% humidity and 55° is best.
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats Thank you!
What about the books do you ever shave all of them
I will be purchasing some clippers here soon! What do you use for your fencing? Is it easy to put up and keep all the goats in? Looks like some type of hot wire. How many strands? Sorry for all the ?
We use Premire one electric fencing. I 4 strands
I Love the Goats, are you going to keep any baby kid goats.
Yes. We mension in this video which ones we will keep.
Crystal, do they learn their names ???? thanks! Deanna
Lol. Yes. They are very smart!
When is it safe to add the baby bucks in with the adult bucks?
It depends on your bucks. They should never be babies for sure.
I see you don't have alot of grass, but do you know if a goat can eat too much grass?
Our brows is different than most places. Only giving green grass can cause bloat. They need a dry feed as well.
🏃♀️🐐🐐🐐🤣👍
