So sad to hear that the band is done.. they had such potential!
Forreal. Hard to believe singer did what he did. Was also surprised guy was a teacher too reading the report.
Memorist is a special band imo. I like every song so far, no matter if it's soft or some kind heavy etc. They know their stuff ;)
RIP Memorist. They are done, singer is in jail, baby abuser, he is probably hanging with Ian from The Lost Prophets.......
just coming back to this video to let everyone in the comments know the drummer & guitarist have started a new band who have music coming soon. the instagram account is @save.us_band
@@RachelleReactsI like the instrumental work with save us but it’s just missing the energy the first vocals had
the song is haunting and one of its kind...its hard to find reaction/review for this band but glad u did it...this band really needs some recognition...
My opinion that I am looking forward to this album. They are the best the MEMORIST band I love their voice
good reaction Rachelle greetings from Ecuador
One of the best bands ever. Their song "Loss" is probably my favourite song ever.
You and me both ☺️
We're not so different you and me, so why'd you have to leave?
This sounds exactly like a GUNSHIP song made metal to me
Their song loss..... damnnnnn i listen to it at least 5 times a day
Not sure if I've ever heard these guys before but the clean vocals are very strong. Loving the dubstep wobbles throughout parts of the track, not something I hear very often in metal. If this isn't even their best track, I'll need to listen to more.
I would say though it's a very solid track, wouldn't call it their best! Definitely suggest taking a listen to the others, very good stuff! EP should be a treat.
Yes
Maybe
@@PoetryAndTofu but highly unlikely
The low guitars with the long sung notes does it for me big time. Great track
Love that guitar tune! Gets me every time. Pretty low tuning!
This song has been on repeat non-stop since it released. I cannot wait for the EP. Love everything they've released.
Just gave these guys a listen, definitely like other songs more than this but it’s still awesome! Looking forward to the ep!
Resolve - Emerald Skies
Came out in August. French metalcore. Great tone and vocals. Key change-y part in the chorus.
This is my first time hearing this band (I think). Pretty good track. The lyrical themes of loss, grief, feeling to blame, and that leading to not knowing your place in the world seems to be pretty common theme these days, and I'm totally for it since I relate to it pretty heavily. Musically, I like the power in the instrumentals, it provides a nice contrast to the vibey flow in the vocals. Overall, solid, I'll def check out more.
Nice! also I notest It seems like alot of Bands are mixing Electronica into there music now adays
For some reason this track by Memorist reminds me a lot of the Deftones.
Had to watch because the thumbnail.
Ur new to me.😃 can you check out red- the evening hate?
It got half a stanky
Lets discuss
For such a small and new band, Memorist has an incredibly mature sound. They're focusing on the song, rather than flashy riffs and brutal breakdowns. This song didn't hit with me the first time I heard, but has been growing on me massively after hearing it with the video. That synthy dubsteppy pause before the chorus is a very cool element that makes it stand out. I personally wish the ending of the song was a bit less abrupt, so I guess that's the only thing we disagree on! I am a huge fan of big epic outros.
As always, vocals are the MVP of the band to me. He has such an amazingly warm voice, and the way he breaks up at the end of the chorus gives me chills every time. He really makes them stand out from any other band.
I just fell in love with their Slither EP. This is an amazing, one if a kind band for me! Speechless. Fucking amazing! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘
It’s actually all taken from their upcoming EP! Out in November. One more new track coming other than the one they just dropped
@@RachelleReacts oooh, soooo excited 😱 sheesh 😂
