This is why I love watching your videos - finding fantastic songs like this. Never heard of these guys before now, but they are absolutely ones to watch if this is the quality we can expect. As you said, they did a great job of making the song seem consistent. Those electronic elements were brought in several times during the song, and I never felt like they were cheesy or overdone. They supported the song and the vibe they were going for. Those synths in the breakdown add such a cool spacey vibe to it that I adore. There's a lot of influences that I'm picking up, mainly Northlane and BMTH. I believe BMTH is the similarity you were picking up in the verses. I get Nihilist Blues sort of vibes. I also get a lot of other elements too, not trying to imply this is a blend of a few other sounds and nothing more. That chorus is huge, and the best part of the song. The chord progression is beautiful and interesting, the vocal melody simple and effective. Those massive open guitar chords and spacey drums make it so emotional and epic. My only critique would be that maybe it's TOO big the first time round. Maybe making the instrumental a little busier for the first chorus would have made the final chorus even more incredible and well deserved. But that's more of a suggestion than criticism. Breakdown is massive and I love it. Usually I hate those choppy vocal effects, but I think it worked well here. I felt like the guitars in this song were perfectly reserved and written to serve the song. You get what you need to achieve the intended effect, nothing more. Again, really impressed by this one. A standout recent feature on the channel for me.
YES!!! Memorist is amazing. You should definitely do reactions for "Loss" and "Frustration" by them. It's their 2 best songs imo. And 2 of the best songs i've ever heard.
just coming back to this video to let everyone in the comments know the drummer & guitarist have started a new band who have music coming soon. the instagram account is @save.us_band

@@jonnysimpson093doesn’t sound like much of an accident. He admitted what he did and that the trauma revealed that he had been “heavy handed” before the brain damage occurred.
@@lfb_bne : Good news is the drummer & guitarist formed a new band called "Save Us." They apparently released an EP this year, so I plan to listen to it in the morning. I hear it's not as epic as Memorist, but I'm still giving them a listen. Such a talented group of musicians that deserve more recognition.
Another great band from the UK 🇬🇧 I enjoyed "Loss" and "Love" but definitely think this is their best release to date, really atmospheric.
That breakdown... I need a neck brace the next time I hear that.

Loss is DEVASTATING 💔
Woah that opening gives me Northlane vibe.
FYI: Singer went to jail for shaking a baby he was looking after.
new band without him is called 'Save us', same vibes, less child abuse.

Slither is just beyond amazing! This song is the one that got me into them, I simply love this and their recent EP. 🤘🔥🙌
