Command and Conquer Generals Evolution is Generals remake mod which was built on Red Alert 3 game engine. This real time strategy game shows great performance, no FPS problems, no lag, new game maps, new units and structures. The game is based on General Zero hour, RTS game which continued the C&C game series.

Command & Conquer: Generals is a real-time strategy video game developed by EA Pacific and released in 2003. The game takes place in an entirely separate continuity that is completely unrelated to the Red Alert universe or the Tiberium universe. It is the first Command & Conquer RTS game to use 3D graphics in-game. Later that year, it was expanded with Zero Hour.
This game is actually a mod for Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and so, in order to play it you need an original copy of Red Alert 3.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a 2008 real-time strategy game developed by Electronic Arts Los Angeles. It is the third major installment in the Red Alert series and features the original two factions, the Allies and the Soviet Union, joined by the newly introduced Empire of the Rising Sun, a high-tech fictionalized Japanese army. Although co-op campaigns were not new to Command & Conquer games, as special co-op missions existed in Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, Red Alert 3 was the first (and currently only) Command & Conquer game to exclusively use co-op mechanics in the main singleplayer campaign.

Adding a long range MRLS vehicle for each faction, and making tomahawks, scud launchers, and nuke cannons a super long range would be a good addition.
I actually played an RTS once where the artillery had about a half-map range. It made its use a lot more flexible and not just "this is here for outranging base defenses". I really wish more games did that.
This looks nice but one of the elements of generals was the ability to build buildings anywhere on the map. This looks like building is restricted...unless I'm missing something.
This mod is fucking awesome. Tue sad thing is, after a while in skirmish it crashes. Did the excact way to install it in the description. Played GLA and yesterday when i was going for a bigger attack it crashes. 3 time in a row...frustrating. But mod is fucking nice, keep on working on it (if the mod guy reads this) hoping for the missing units (Mob) the gla sniper, the suicide troops etc, more maps and coop / pve.

Yea, I noticed that too. Ill upload China video in few hours with Nuke tank, and I'm 100% sure it have more lines than usuall.
I remember I have been Myanmar in 2001 or 2003 (can't really remember the exact year). People in the net cafe just playing two game only, one is counter strike and another is C&C general. Imagine how popular this game reaches worldwide. EA just ruined and terminated their best game.

the attack move command on your unit here destroying all enemy building not just the defense building? also if the frame droping when the game is a lot of units?
If you set the units to "aggressive stance" by select your units and click Alt+A or open the little menu down and select the "4 arrows" button, they will attack everything they can on thier way. If not (and by defult) they will attack only defese buildings and units, as you said.

@@johnlouielureca8079 No, this game running on Red Alert 3 engine, more modern engine, and it have 4GB ram use fix insted of original 2GB. Better performance

How does this mod compare to rise of the reds? (of all the generals mods I like ROTR the most, the ai is very competent)
Yes, the mod is incomplete. Only General Townes (Laser General) have his unique unit, the rest will play like standard USA, China and GLA faction.
There is still a little bit of issue with a map since sometime they're so small to build large building like Airfield or SCUD Storm.
AI is a little wonky since they would stop attacking after a while and stay on defence with mass army they trained, some kind of programming problem.

does the mod also support lan games? We were looking for a game thats generals without it crashing 99% of the time when playing on lan with some mates of mine. If its lan as well, we might have found the best rts langame to play.
