Hi John, Not sure if you will see this as the video is a couple of years old but anyway maybe some will see it as helpful. To make the install easier you are correct loosen off or remove the thumb bolt, once done if you have a clamp normally used for gluing wood together many of them you can flip the jaws around and now instead of a clamp you have an expander. You can fit it in between the ears on the thumb and spread the ears open. Zero fighting or hammering everything will drop together nicely. The BXPanda products look very nice indeed. Hi John! Nicely done! You’re gonna love the convenience and versatility of the Quick On bucket connector. I see you struggled with the install because of the thumb too! LOL. Just one word of caution: with the Quick On connector on it looks like you thumb can almost wedge up into the bucket in certain positions. This happened to me a couple of times and it was a bear to get unstuck. Even the tractor hydraulics couldn’t break it loose. And I had even bought the longer version of the thumb to prevent that from happening! Ironically, I fixed the problem by cutting a little bit off of the end of the thumb so that the edge of the thumb couldn’t get stuck behind my bucket teeth. Just keep this in mind. Thanks for sharing!
Sorry Martin! I just found your comment! Never got a notification! Thank you for the advice! You are right about the thumb and bucket. Now that you bring it up. I can see that happening! I will sure watch for it! Thank you again! Have a good week my friend!

Great video as always John! I fought with my thumb going over the pin mounts as well, however I put a c clamp on the QD bracket ears and cranked it in a few turns and the thumb slid right on. Went to the website and this product isn't listed, theres only 2 products for MF and one for the CB65. Whats the compatibility for CB85 with other tractors? Looking for a trench bucket for a CB85.
Hey Turbo Bosch, They do have them for sale. There not posted on the website yet. Call or email them and they will take your order. Have a good one!
Question - On their site it only says they attachments are for the CB65 - not the CB75? Same dimensions? Compatible?
Thanks Jeff! The Quick-on will fit the CB 65, 75, 85 as well the root ripper and trenching bucket with or w/o Quick-on but you do need to let them know which backhoe you have! Have a good one!
I'm looking to buy the BXpanded quick connect with the root ripper & trencher bucket. How many pins will I need to buy ?
Thank you Terry, for watching and the comment! From my understanding, when you order the QC it comes with one quick change pin and one mounting pin for your factory bucket. The root ripper will come with one mounting pin and so will the trenching bucket. Call or email them to make sure I'm correct. You should enjoy all of them on your tractor. Have a good one and keep me updated! See ya in the next one!
@@LouisianaTractorworks Thank you !!! Love your video's
@@terryharndon301 Thank you very much! We really appreciate it! I hope BXpanded was able to take care of you! Stay warm and Happy Tractoring!!! See ya in the next one!
I ordered the same items as you how many pins did you receive? I got 2 pins and the quick connect pin. Do I need another one to be able to use everything?
You get a quick connect pin, a bucket pin. They might send a extra on for another bucket. The root ripper and the trenching bucket come with one each I think! Have fun with the new toys!!
Brother do you lean to the right when you walk?? You got alot hanging off that belt for sure lol
LOL!! No!! I have just as much on the left side! So, it keeps me balanced!! LOL!! Have a good one!
Great vid John!!!! Bout how much it all cost? Wouldnt mind havin that setup on my 1720 :)
Hey Mike! Thank you! www.bxpanded.com/ Give them a call or email and they will answer all you question! Have a good day and stay safe!
John, My father and i are hopefully picking up our Gc1725mb next week When i went to bxpanded’s website i could not find the root ripper or quick attach for the massey, did they discontinue it??
Hey Dan! Thanks for you and your Dad joining my FB gruop! No! BXpanded is selling them but haven't put them on the website yet! All you have to do is email them that you want to oder them and they will get in touch with you! A lot of people just fill out the order form on the website and put they want the ripper and QC for the Massey GC's. They usually get a conformation email back letting them know it's ordered! Have a good one and looking forward to seeing y'all on that new tractor!!
Louisiana Tractorworks & Projects Oh alright, awesome i will look into that! Thank you very much i appreciate it, love your videos.
@@danfarge6384 You are very welcome! If you don't get through to them let me know and I will get your oder taken care of!! Thank you! I hope the videos help!!
Louisiana Tractorworks & Projects They are extremely helpful, Thanks again!
Your quite the salesman. I'm wondering what this costs.
I've never had facebook. You tube is as nerdy as I get. Lol.
HaHaHa!! I hear you on being nerdy!! These facebook groups give you almost instant response to questions and ideas and a lot of them! lol Thank you Tim! Have a good week!
So you don't beat the paint on the bottom of the boom. You should glue a rubber piece on the boom when the bucket is curled in towards the bottom of boom.
Thank you William, for watching and the comment! I only hit my boom once. I curl the bucket all the way closed before I bring the dipper stick in to the boom. Opening I stick out then uncurl the bucket. Have a good week! See ya in the next one!
@@LouisianaTractorworks Your welcome. I seen that issue with one of your fellow UA-camr. He put some rubber on the stick of the backhoe.
Hey man do you get any credit for sending customers to them? Happy to give u credit
Hey bones! No, but I would appreciate if you would tell them where you seen it!! lol Thanks and have a good one!!
@@LouisianaTractorworks I called them to see if they open and a nice lady said she was working from home but they are open but reduced staff so it will take a bit maybe to get the order out. I said no problems ordered the quick attach and trenching bucket. Cheers my man keep the vids coming and stay safe.
@@bones549 Congrats!! On the new toys!! I hope they make your projects easier!! If it don't stop raining here. You might get your's in the ground before me!! LOL! Have fun!! and a good weekend!!
Do they sell this ? I can’t find it
Yes! You have to email them, it's not posted on the website yet!!
Hit up Howard!!
Awesome thanks !
Where’s your affiliate link? I want to buy one, but want you to get credit!
Thanks but I don't have one
I think you will love having on your tractor and keep me up-to-date on what you think about it! Have a great weekend! See ya in the next one
you would have thought it would have been easier to put on since they were both made by bxpanded
I wonder if it will fit my RK24, such an awesome system
It was me that messed up! When I didn't pull the bolt out of the thumb! That was what pulled the ears in to much! After I pulled it they went right on! A nice snug fit is what you want at that point on the dipper stick! Thank you ProCut! Have a good week!
I'm going to take measurements later this week for somebody else! I can send them to you too and you can check! BXpanded makes a few different ones for other backhoes so they just might have one that will fit if this one don't! Email me your email address so I can send you pics of the measurements at louisianaaquaponics@gmail.com
@@LouisianaTractorworks will do, thanks

Why doesn't BX show their products working on MF hoes, only Kubota?
Thanks James for the comment! BX owns a Kubota that's what they started making addons for. They don't have a Massey to show the stuff they make working on them. That's why Ryan the owners and me work together to get them tested and on video. Have a good week! See ya in the next one!
Super like ❤️🙏👍👍👍❤️👍👈🤩
Thank you Saiful!! Have a good one!
If bxpanded would have sent me the right thumb it woulda been great. But a cb 65 thumb is too short for a cb 85. Guess they lost their tape measure.
Thank you Clint, for watching and the comment! I didn't know BXpanded made a thumb for cb85 backhoes. You are right that a cb65 will not fit. I hope they get you fixed up soon. Have a good week! See ya in the next one!
7:35....NO, the thumb stick is on the wrong side!
