Nice video! I wanted to know how different you think the tone of this guitar is compared to the bridge pickup of an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I have one but always wanted a Tele Deluxe
Totally different, tbh. I've had both. The main thing is the scale length. Gibson/Epiphone guitar necks have a 24.75" scale so the strings are looser and vibrate differently. Fender/Squier guitars have 25.5" scale so the strings are tighter and the sound is more tight and percussive.
Sounds nothing like a tele, I love it.

Yes there is. You can buy a second pick guard to cut and keep the original.
