Based in the heart of the Scottish Borders, this stunning lodge site is set in the rural woodland of the Lauderdale Estate, offering views of Thirlestane Castle. In this vlog, we explore the Kingfisher Lodge (situated right on the edge of the site), which has to be one of the best lodges we've ever stayed in. We also walk to the nearby castle, cook some delicious Mexican food, relax in the massive hot tub, and more! We can highly recommend Thirlestane Woodland Lodges if you're looking for a base to stay in the Scottish Borders - we'll definitely be back!

I adore Scotland. You should both travel the NC 500 lots of different Castles.
We've booked 2 lodges this year. Sherwood pines and one near blackpool Like how you had to sort out the hot tub chemicals. Gets easy with practice. Can you cook my breakfast? Crispy bacon every time. Cali was buzzing and loves water like my brutus. I bet the lodge is expensive in July.
