how can i keep the gum paste soft i am afraid it will harden the day we deliver the cupcake .is it normal to harden or is it supposed to stay soft ????

I would say only the flower and rose would need to be made with gumpaste so they can harden. Which is fine some people anyways remove the topper. As for the rest, they were made with fondant so they were still a bit soft but held its shape. It can also get softer from the buttercream.

What gold do you use? My mix always is too watery or clumpy

I use crescendo gold dust. Make sure to mix it with vodka!

@@caketoppedwithlove7518 thank you so much! I use vodka and it streaks. I was trying to color strawberries and they didn’t have that deep shimmer. What brushes you use? I’m just gone buy exactly what you have 😂😂😂

@@welcometotheeroom hmm maybe it streaks because its on chocolate? How does it work for you on fondant? I would also maybe suggest to add a bit more dust if it streaks. To be honest I just buy the cheapest brushes at the dollar store 😂 some are great and some not so much lol or check out Michael’s they have great brushes there. I try to find the thinnest brush for small details! I hope this helps let me know how it works out!

@@welcometotheeroom what I’ve done for strawberries before was I dipped in chocolate then dipped my brush in the dust and brushed that on top of the chocolate directly
