Thank you for the great review, that looks to be a great set, I would love be able to have a go with those so they will have to be on the top of my list
Thanks DMAC. I started picking about 10 months ago and just received this pick set yesterday. Once I get a lock or two this week, I'm going to give it a go.
My wife got me this set for our anniversary, it opened up a whole class of locks to me. My only gripe is they should have included the #11. I use the grub screw to reference orientation, fwiw.
A good old elastic band will do away with those buckle issues, I would certainly go down that road. Does quality come above practicality......I do like the look of the picks though, have done for ages. Great review Darren, have a great Easter mate🤜🤛😁👍
Got this set just so I'd be confident that I had the right tools for the job, rather than rely on my inexperienced ability to reshape the cheap ones. After a while of use I agree with so many of your assessments - would have loved some more tensioners (like the lock noob ones) and an included #11. Cheers!
Hey great live! Wished I didn’t have to go to the Tattoo’st or I’d finish now! Will check out later! I shared this out. Hope it brings some in for ya! Hippy pickin homie!
Great review as always dmac 😁 I'd like to say multipick do do a 11 flag for that set that they sell individually to add on to that kit 😁 for me that's the best set of dimples available Great stuff D
Great review. Just got my first MP order which consisted of 2 handles and the number 3,4,5,6,10,11 tips. This was advised to me as a budget solution, it’s not perfect but so far so good. One downside is I have to change tips quite often between the 2 handles. The #11 tip is the mirrored profile of #10. Thanks😀✌️
Great review! I love my MP dimple flags. I completly regretted buying the starter kit to dip my toes into dimple picks, since in the end i spend more money stocking up to this kit 🤦♂ It is very nice, that MP increased the size of the grub screws by now, so the threads don't wear out that quickly. In my older versions i have worn out two of these smaller threads 🙄 The handles are a bit small indeed and i think i would favor a thicker handle as well. They should include the nice tensioners that LockNoob has designed for them 😅
Nice balanced review. It's definitely a premium bit of kit, but like you say it's not without it's niggles. I'd find a slightly chunkier handle more comfortable. The 11 profile is the left version of the No.10 flag... if that's the right way round🤔 I'll need to grab my Iseo R6's out of the NB and give them another try.. The damn things seem to overset as soon as I look at them 😆 Cheers bud 👍🍻
I can waffle on about locksport tools all day long as my wife will attest to. 3 minutes on tensioners is nothing. To be fair though, some of that time was spent talking about the tensioners that were missing from this set 😆👍🏻
I've got this set but I'm looking to sell them. If anyone wants to buy them. They cost €200 but I'll sell them for €130 Ono. I have used #7 and #10 but never used the rest. It comes with 2 dimple tensioners and a hex wrench for the picks incase you want to buy a replacement. Edit: I've not put them on eBay because I want the lockpicking community to have first shout.

That would've been a great addition 👍🏻

Thanks Nick. An elastic band would kill the quality aesthetic for me 😆 although it would solve a problem

On balance it is a very well made set that will last a lifetime 👍🏻

Nice! Many folks I've heard from pick with the same 2 or 3 tips so your solution sounds great. Enjoy 😁👍🏻
Excellent unbiased review
Thanks Tipene, it's the best way imo. I'd have never bought my first 2 sets if they'd been honestly reviewed! You live and learn 😁👍🏻
@@Dmaclocksport I'm just hoping that Sparrows have the balls to send you a set of their Thunderbird fondue forks.

The locknoob tensioners would be great. More variety 😎👌🏼
Very Cool 😎👍
Thanks mate, they are a fantastic bit of kit overall 👍🏻

Interesting. I managed to pick all of my iseo r6's with that curved flag 😎👌🏼
Ich will kaufen
Its a great kit 😎👌🏼

@@Dmaclocksport I'm just glad to see you're able to pick dimple locks again. How's the hand these days?
@@NiqScott better than it used to be. Short sessions with dimple locks seem to be ok

A great price. Have you posted it on lpu discord lock bazaar? I'm sure they'd sell there to an appreciative locksporter 😁👍🏻
@@Dmaclocksport I didn't even think of that. I may do that because I love them and I'd be happy if they went to someone who practices locksport.
