How strict are they about mask wearing in Ecuador? Will you get in trouble if you're walking around in a park away from other people without a mask for example?
Wearing masks here is very common and we’ve gotten very use to it. If we’re not around anyone we’ll lower our masks, as well as when we are eating and drinking with friends. There is not really much of an anti mask movement here, we just think of it as part of the wardrobe when going out now. You can get fined for not wearing one, but you’re much more likely to get politely reminded.
