The Coffee Man: How to Be a World Champion Barista (Global Documentary) | Real Stories

- Sasa, an immigrant from war-torn Bosnia found international acclaim of a different kind when he first moved to Australia in 1996, by representing his new country in handball at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
The journey takes the viewer from the farm to cup, to the dizzying heights of international competition, where Sasa will win at any cost, even if that requires smuggling Australian milk through US customs to attain the perfect flavour profile. Meeting heroes such as Cathy Freeman gave Sasa a taste of victory that would live with him until 15 years later, when he outclassed competitors from almost 52 countries to win 2015 World Barista Championship (WBC) title in Seattle - the Olympics of coffee.

Wow, and here I've been drooling over my instant decaf with a pack of sugar free generic cocoa thrown in.
I think the concentration and richness of these masterpieces would kill me.
(Okay, sometimes I throw in 2 packs.)
Same sis same
Lol..same! ☕
I wish I had an actual pallet that can taste those flavors in everything! Coffee whiskey beer beef dishes around the globe and on and on.
I’m a barista, I love coffee and I hate my job. 😣☕️
@Mackii.SWE 🇸🇪 I'll spend my whole life trying to work that out! But I want to give high quality luxury customer service at hotels maybe... 😵
Make me a coffee
I want to leave my job as a doctor to live this man's occupation .
Go for it!
Live your dream life-
Why not . you can achieve a better salary. And meet some healthy people .And when you are older , you can always go back to be a dr . Or why not bouth .
@@justme_nor thanks for the encouragment. Will work towards inculticating both✌✌
Oh my god gal!!!! Wait what being doctor is dope but being barista would be cool do both bro!!
Id love to have that job!
This is such inspiring story! Even knowing that Sasa has won, I was so thrilled when judges announced the 2nd and the 1st places.
I'm born and raised in the States but some of my family is from Africa and they love their Ethiopian coffees. I think I'll pay attention to the flavor next time. I usually just drink it and don't appreciate it beyond the fact that it has a ton of caffeine lol
Real Stories - can you please do a documentary on chocolate?
Real stories didnt make this doc
when i see people making coffee an art while for me evert coffee tastes the same i am really flabbagasted
I would like a sip...just a sip.
Luckily, I started drinking coffee at age four.

🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦🇧🇦
Adrenal Fatigue.
Only a little way in and I'm really hoping they gonna explain what the noisy & quick af slurping is all about 😂😂
That’s how they taste coffee, tea, …
@@MetalMouse67 well yeah when you put something in your mouth it's obviously so you can taste it 🤣🤣. I'm saying that I hope they explain why they do it like that lol
@@TJSPARKLE it’s like wine tasting.
To be able to really understand its flavor profile and its subtleties. And to be able to do that, you have to introduce air. It might be off putting but that's the way it is haha
I work in a roastery, and the reason we taste coffee like this is threefold! 1. It helps cool the coffee as it comes into our mouth, so we don't get burned, 2. It aerates the coffee, which helps us taste it more clearly and 3. there are taste receptors all over our mouths, not just on our tongues, so when we slurp coffee it sprays the coffee around our whole mouths, helping us to taste even more! Hope this helps!
Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is the best
I bought a few bags when on vacation in Jamaica. The coffee was very strong and tasted great. I think coffee from Puerto Rico tastes just as good. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
I'll give it a try! Ty
Had to import milk??? Couldn't find milk that taste right. Find that hard to believe.
Obviously you haven't had real milk, I have seen butter in the USA. and can attest to the fact butter is not pale , real butter is yellow. Comes from the richness of real cream from real milk.
the milk was not bad but it wasnt as good mate, i think he would know more then you.
This guy is way too intense about coffee.
coffee isnt just to drink its a passion for people some people have diff passions its nothing to hate on
Stop hating ffs
what a bs... this world really need reset
Dude looks like a raisin - he needs a water now and then
Whats with the hate mate what did he do to you?
@@sun5534 im just concerned because he looks dehydrateddd
@@truecrimerip7936 well mate I don’t think you should be concerned about someone you don’t know and if you think he is dehydrated then don’t insult him but saying he looks like a raisin
@@sun5534 and you should avoid the internet if you are allergic to opinions 😌
@@truecrimerip7936 so now opinions are meant to be rude? Your legit insulting someone.
The way he sucks his coffee like soup is really gross, and noisy.
thats cupping coffee mate everyone does that cupping coffee isnt for enjoyment its to get the flavours dont hate if you dont know
You do the same with wine in a way. don’t watch it if you don’t like it 🤣 small minded man
