The first one is NOT actually of a rat at all! In fact, it is of a SNAKE! I even dare to bet that the mistake came from the skull being that of a 'rat snake', which is simply a species of snake.
thats not a rat snake skull either, boas and pythons have teeth like that, not so much collubrids. i went to the site myself to try the challenge and its a bit buggy with the selection bar sometimes
Definitely a snake from the constrictor family you can tell by the rows of teeth. Constrictors will bite and wrap, so their fangs point back so that once they are in they are in and the prey item cannot easily escape. I'm not sure which species it is, but my brain thinks green tree python lmao but one wouldn't know the specific genus unless that's what they specialize in. A rattlesnake tends to have 2 very large fangs and are a part of the pit viper family. Due to the sheer size I think people can rule out ratsnake species as well.^^;
interesting is why snakes have the split jaw. (description mainly applies to the non venomous but suffocating types) It's if they have bitten their prey while choking them, they use their three separate skull parts to "walk/crawl" over them, encasing them in the process until they are swallowed.
You have to appreciate how busy Jazza is he has paint all over his arms which probably means he working on two videos at once. Thank you for all you do
As someone who has bveen in the area of biology (spefically paleontology) for around 10 years; its cool to see how people; even great artists, tend to represent creatures as shrinkwraped monsters. It's a delightful representation of human nature; the fear of the unknown leads us to imagine beings as way more terrifying than they actually are. Sidenote: Animals _always_ have at least one layer of muscle tissue and fat around their bones. They can also have structures that are cannot remain in bone/fossil record; such as trunks (like elphants have), queratinous bumps (like crocodile scales), feathers (like dromeaosaurs, although we know they had them), and fur.
Not only are we blessed with Jazza playing the Bone Game but I can't believe both Drawfee and Jazza drew zookeepers for their videos released today haha.

This reminds me of the "Flottos" from our childhood. When we were little most of the paper for drawing was re-used scripts and handouts from my parents (meaning they were already printed on one side). One day we noticed that some of them had beautiful drawings on them. They were all kind of microrgansims like algea my mother had drawen while looking through a microscope when she studied biology. My brother and I didn't know what they were we only could see they were somekind of creatures. We liked them so much we started to colour them in, gave them eyes and mouths, sorted them into typs and gave them names. The overall category name was Flotto. We even cut them out and played with them at some point. Sadly one day one of our greataunts thought they were junk and I was to scared of her to correct her so she threw all of the remaining ones out.
I did get the Pro Sketch pack and I love it, I've been enjoying using it, thanks😊 Coincidentally I had that idea yesterday when I found 3d models of skulls on an app, I thought they would make a good base for some weird creature and I think you successfully proved that it is😊
Love the creations. It's really interesting to try and figure out what something is based on the skull. I wasn't even close to guessing any of them correctly.
this is a fun concept. you should google what a hippo skull looks like. there's even a meme about how the skull looks so much different than the animal, and how artists would draw the animal if all they had to go off was the skull.

The first drawing ended up looking like the dragon from The Never-ending Story
Okay - I had a pet rat years ago and he was the sweetest little dude. 🐀
I'm glad that first skull wasn't really a rat skull!
1:40. It's a snake. Backwards pointing teeth, separation in the bottom jaw bone where the ligaments are.
The first one he drew on and he accidentally made Falcor the luck dragon from The Neverending Story...lol
Jazza I'd like to see you use more oil paint sticks that was really great to watch. Also the 3d acrylic resin stuff with the Zelda theme was awesome. Most of what you do is really, really cool.
BONE GAME!
This perfectly illustrates why doing accurate paleoart is so difficult. It's really hard to protray an animal in the flesh when all you have to go on are some scattered disarticulated fossilized bones from millions of years ago.
That first one is not a rat, it's a python.
Jazza you are my inspiration to draw, I watch your videos since 2015~ and I'm happy your content is always improving and getting better and even more creative, keep it up! :)
BONE GAME BONE GAME
That squirrel thingy looks so derpy it's freakin adorable. MAKE A MERCH OUT OF HIM PLEASE.
me, a vet student, attempting to identify each skull anatomically. first one is def a snake though lol
A weird, but amazing video! Jazza drew some goofy skulls and the finished piece was priceless and I enjoyed it so much!
The first skull was a snake skull, not a rat skull.
I enjoyed this a lot. Love to also see you sculpt them !
We love bone game
this dude is so intertaining, a natural actor😂😂
omg i need a jazza and drawfee collab pls it would be the greatest thing in the world
edit: lmao i love how it said that the snake skull was a rat skull
ok last edit: i really want the pro sketch pack but my mum wont allow it even though its my birthday because i have “proper expensive animation pens” i dont want that, i respect that theyre vey expensive but it isnt just pens in the sketch pack, yk? im just rlly annoyed coz i’d rather get it than airpods that my mum said she’d get me for my birthday (7th april) but yk i could just be being a stupid ungrateful bratt which im sorry for
@@boredaf6332 oh nice!
They already have a collab
I love this chill type of videos. It was fun trying to guess the skulls too
7:28 ....Jazza...wtf is that abomination???
TW 6:53 this video is not free of cats 2019
That pen you talk about that you custom made for the set (around the 13:30 minute mark) is interesting. It reminds me of a brush pen or a manga G-Pen.
Bro, this is the type of content that I most enjoy. Love watching character criation.
I did get the Pro Sketch pack and I love it, I've been enjoying using it, thanks😊 Coincidentally I had that idea yesterday when I found 3d models of skulls on an app, I thought they would make a good base for some weird creature and I think you successfully proved that it is😊
Oh my god it's finally happened, Jazza is playing the BONE GAMMMMMEEE
This is incredible artwork! You inspired me to try out this challenge as well. Also, that Pro Sketch pack looks outstanding.
never thought I'd see Jazza play the Bone Game but i love it
I love drawfee and jazza being friends
Love the creations. It's really interesting to try and figure out what something is based on the skull. I wasn't even close to guessing any of them correctly.
Really love this. please make it a series!
this is a fun concept. you should google what a hippo skull looks like. there's even a meme about how the skull looks so much different than the animal, and how artists would draw the animal if all they had to go off was the skull.
As someone who loves to draw cursed things, I enjoyed this very much!
