Idk if y'all believe in past lives or not, but I've done a lot of past life regression therapy in my life due to unexplainable triggers, flashes, and vivid reoccurring nightmares that have been going on for as long as I can remember. I don't wanna get into full detail of what it was like my life was like, but, long story short;
My people were being invaded, slaughtered, and tortured by this other country, who we were at war with. As a child, my village was burned down and attacked by these people, with me being one of the only people to make it out alive, and losing what little family I had. I was convinced it was my duty to end the war for good so nobody else had to suffer. I wasn't even really allowed in the military, but I still taught myself how to read and do combat. I fought in the war until I was captured by the enemy and endured months of torture. They said that if I stopped getting involved in the war along with other things, they would let me go, but like the stubborn bitch I am, I told them to go off themselves, and was executed soon after that.
This song reminds me of that life. Really be hittin' different with the slow and reverb tho. (◑_◑)
