I appreciate you making these videos. It helps SO much when looking for patterns. I search for free patterns all the time but never find anything this nice! Thank you! The only negative thing is now I have waaaaay to many things I want to make
I actually made the cool cropped top! I will say the writing of the pattern could be a little confusing at times but it turned out super beautiful and I'm excited to wear it this spring!
i'm actually almost done the ballerina wrap top! i started it as my first raglan construction and it's fairly simple for a beginner tbh. there are some sections where i was a bit lost and had to look up videos or use my brain haha but i'm loving it. i'll probably make another and actually make a swatch first 🤦♀
Hi Bethany, this spring I am working on a wrap short sleeve sweater. It is in three pieces. And it wraps around the back , with the ties in front. I got the idea from a 1950s backwards wrap dress. Awesome video and thank you.
As I'm finishing up a couple chunky sweaters I've been starting to think about spring knits too, so this was a great place to get started for inspiration--thank you!
Thank you so much...that is quite a great selection of free patterns and looks like beginner friendly. So i really appreciate it as I'm new and trying to find fun free patterns to get me started.
Love that Flower Cardigan x Sandesgarn too! Really has a classic look and the color combinations are just nice. And love to kit that Tote x purl soho. Thank your for sharing those are so nice picked patterns.
I love the vintage feel of the charisma sweater! I'm adding it to my list for sure. Might have to knit the joy top too cause I love a good basic for warmer weather.
Thank you. I never knit a pattern exactly like it is, but give it my own 'twist'. So I can use one of these free patterns (maybe even only the photo of how it looks) as a base. I have a lot of unraveled bourette silk (it was a sweater, 1980s or 90s) I would like to use for a 'spring knit'.
This morning I completed the Aria sweater by Kaitlin Barthold published on Originally Lovely and it was beautifully constructed. Now that you've mentioned the skirt pattern I'm going to have to see what else they have.
The Blomsterjakke reminds me of the recent cardigan that Ciasbod just knit. Cias is very talented and her pattern is something that she designed, and is rally fun cardigan, but this one is equally lovely. Thanks for the list!
A free pattern I’m thinking about casting on is the Finch Sweater by Marie Wallin! It amazes me, that such an intricate pattern can be published for free and something about the colorwork and the colors she used in the example makes me think of spring, even though it’s probably quite warm😅 a lot of small stitches and colorwork though, it’s gonna be a long one I guess 😂😊
I made the cool crop top last summer! Super fun, though definitely one to read prior to making as some steps are a little confusing. It's definitely one to wow a crowd when you say you made it yourself! Excited to see the wrap tops too! The first one was actually on my list to knit as soon as my yarn arrives!
love this video and the others, now my pattern library is way ahead of me. please tell me what it the yarn used in the sweater you're wearing? it's gorgeous. thank you!
Loved this video! There are so many free resources out there, it is crazy! Unfortunately I'm a very slow knitter (started last year so I can't complain) and I need to choose very wisely the next project I want to work on because I will probably spend a couple of months on it 😅 anyway, I'm almost finished with your sable sweater and I loved it, the video helped a lot, thank you for the good work!
Great picks! I really liked the tops you picked. Especially the wrap tops!! I feel like they would be good patterns for any weather you could just adjust the sleeve length and adjust wool vs linen for the season. It’s so funny you automatically went cottage core with your styling. My first thoughts were black jeans and my doc martens. 😅as for pattons I’ve tried them before and honestly reminded me of red heart so I was a little surprised you were missing them. I did pick them up on a whim and used them for a scarf pattern so maybe it was a case of the wrong yarn for the wrong project. But great video! Def need it going into spring and summer knitting! It can be hard finding good patterns and inspiration. Can’t wait for your next video!
I desperately need your help finding knitted trousers. I see so many yoga pants, or tight rib pants when I search for knitted pants, but I've been dying over the idea of knitted slacks or straight pants. Pickles has a great match, but it's a knit kit with yarn waaaayy over my budget. If you come across any, or feel like helping a knit sister out, please feel free to, as I'm dire need. Thanks for this video btw! I love the shopper and light shirts, really lovely finds!
@@WellLovedKnits thanks for the reply! Yes, either a yarn substitute, or a similar recipe. You should check them out, I've never seen anything like them before! They're like office pants almost 😊
"spring starts a bit cold" Me in my tropical country when after the spring equinox goes from 12°c to 27°c in 2 days 😂😭 the sadness of being a knitter in this weather.
does anyone else feel like it's sad to want your hand-knit pieces to look store-bought?! i totally get wanting them to look beautifully finished but i love knowing that you couldnt find it in a shop!!
I try to make my work 'hand made' (as in beautiful, one of a kind) as opposed to 'home made' (as in the first things one makes when one starts knitting, sewing...). But hey, I also accept the 'unique variations' on my work - some people might call them mistakes, but they clearly just don't value individuality! 😁
Okay so I bought the ballerina Wrap Top pattern (there was a sale) and have been wanting to cast on, but obviously the yarn used (Touch of Mohair) is discontinued...what kind of yarns were you thinking of subbing? I'm thinking sock + mohair ought to work, but the yardage is also hard to guesstimate...
Links to all patterns can be found here :) happy knitting! www.welllovedknits.com/blog/15-free-knitting-patterns-for-spring
I'm struggling to find the flower cardigan. I see the website for it but no link to the pattern.
I found the "sample" but it's not in English. Have you found it in English? If so can you direct me to it please?
the link goes to a private site and I cannot see anything
I don't think the link works anymore?
The link doesn't works anymore

I made the dalton dress in a purple cotton held with a gold thread... it was so fun to knit and i love wearing it
that sounds amazing; never thought to hold with thread!
The Dalton Dress is everything! Easily something I would purchase in-store. What an AWESOME find!
Your timing couldn’t have been better Bethany 🤩

the ballerina top is on my list too. excited to cast it on soon
Great choices, thanks for sharing, I've written down a lot of them! Especially the sleeveless ones, very unique 🌺🌹 Happy spring!
I made the Simple Summer Tank last year and it’s one of my favourite things that I’ve ever made. I can’t wait to make it again this year.
I’ve already been working on knitcroaddict’s lace sweater ! Love the flow and texture
Love that Flower Cardigan x Sandesgarn too! Really has a classic look and the color combinations are just nice. And love to kit that Tote x purl soho. Thank your for sharing those are so nice picked patterns.
the v neck you're wearing looks so good!!! can't wait for the pattern
I am a mommy and about to have my third baby and having access to free patterns is a lifesaver
Thank you so much
I love the vintage feel of the charisma sweater! I'm adding it to my list for sure. Might have to knit the joy top too cause I love a good basic for warmer weather.
I’m already almost finished with my second ballerina top! First was short sleeve, second is long sleeve :)
what yarn are you using? i cant seem to find the lion brand mohair yarn and I'm wondering if there are any alternatives
Hi the link doesn't work. Could you please list the patterns in your description?
Oh Bethany thank you so much there’s so many patterns in here I want it up thank you thank you thank you love you beautiful sister
I love this since as a new knitter I didn't know what to make that aren't stereotypical wintery things
A skirt, yay! Thank you Yarnspirations has the most adorable LBD pattern that would be darling on you.

I gasped at the skirt pattern. Must make that!!!

You found so many great pieces! I'm honestly surprised that the flower cardigan by sandesgarn is free! It's so pretty!

Amazing video!! Thanks 🙏🏻 🫶🏻😍

Hello! The link to your blog isn't working.
Hey loved the video !! I tried to use the link but it’s not working is something wrong ?
"spring starts a bit cold"
Me in my tropical country when after the spring equinox goes from 12°c to 27°c in 2 days 😂😭 the sadness of being a knitter in this weather.
The pattern for "Sandesgarn Flower Cardigan" seem to only be available in Norwegian. Do you happen to have this free pattern in English?
So many great free patterns! Thanks for the video :) I tried downloading the pattern for the flower cardigan but I can't seem to find the English pdf
Me slowly pausing my needles as the Asher skirt I'm currently working on appears on screen like you read my mind

Hi Bethany, thank you for those great pattern ideas. What is the sweater you're wearing?
You are so welcome! The pattern is my own design currently in testing. To be released early April!
Maybe you could do a video with pattern recommendations under 5 euros 🤷🏼♀️
So, there may bea friend in the states that can order the yarn and send it to you.
i want to knit so i can have a knitting room
Does the link mot6work anymore?
Can someone explain to me how I can get the flower cardigan pattern? Its not working for me
Nvm I found a way lol
How did you find it? 🥺 I’ve also been having trouble
I also can't find it!
Get the sock yarn shipped to your mum in USA then tell her to forward to you
One way around it
Yes I had that same thought 😊🙌🏼
Now i see why they are free …. 😂 not cute at all ….
