A day he'll remember. Might want to shorten the top link and lower the skids on this surface. With all the rocks I am not surprised you had to replace shear bolts.
I have the exact same snowblower and I open many driveways, I was constantly changing the grade 2 shear bolts so I upgraded to the grade 5 bolts. Now it breaks for large objects not the small little stuff. I went from 10 a day to maybe 5 a year. The pto shaft has a grade 5 bolt for the impeller so I matched it on the auger. Grade 2 is too weak in my opinion. Many people said I would wreak the blower but it's fine... I have about 500 hours on mine and all I do is change the gear box oil once a season and keep it well greased. Thanks for sharing !
I ordered a 80" puma and I see the weight difference from the 72" to the 80" is quite significant. Like 240 lbs of difference. I noticed with my old snowblower if I used a bolt with a lock nut or double nutted the shear bolt I never had any issues but as soon as that nut loosens it's done. Hoping my 80" puma does the trick and doesn't cause me too many issues.
He's my best guy! For the camera it's a amtifo off Amazon. Sure probably exactly recommend it a screen quality is not amazing and it doesn't immediately update you it seems to be like a quarter second delay and what you see and what's actually passing the lens of the camera.
Hey! how do you like the puma snowblower? I just ordered an 80" for my 60hp massey ferguson. What would you say max throwing distance is with yours on your machine?
I would tell you that if you have any rocks that are larger than inch and a half to 2-inch that are likely to get picked up in your driveway don't waste your money. When it's not breaking a shear pin that works fantastic will throw the snow about thirty to 50 ft. But the design has no relief built into it for rock so they just constantly get jammed up. I have a mile long driveway last year it took me about 4 hours to go down the driveway and I couldn't even finish the job because I broke all ten shear pins that I had
@@rpmservice5211thanks for the info. Do you think I should go up to the p-720-80" commercial grade one!? What do you think of the puma as far as build quality I have been told it's pronovost economy blower.
@@rpmservice5211 what would you say is engineered poorly? Not what I want to hear after ordering an 80". I know my 80" is about 730 lbs and the 72 inch is like 496
Great job teaching! That DK4710 with the blower does a nice job! And those R14 tires look like a nice tire for the snow.
Now you got him on the tractor your going to have hard time getting him off it

🎉🎉 nice job little man 🎉🎉
That's raisin them right. Good job.
Nice Job. He is hired! I just bought the same tractor. What type of camera system do you have?

Is that a back up camera mounted in the cab? If so what do you use?
Yes it's a camera I got off Amazon its works pretty well but the spacial perception is skewed so I don't rely on it.

@@bigtimegolfer3668 nothing to compare it too as this is the only tractor blower I have experience with but not impressed with the engineering...

@@bigtimegolfer3668 the lack of thought put into relieving the packed snow and small debris... which binds it up leading to breaking of shear pins
