Good information. The Tripowin C8 is another cable that needs to be modified to work with the Sennheiser IE200 (and probably IE300/600/900 as well). After complete removal of the plastic color rings the connectors plug in firmly and make a satisfying click upon insertion. There remains a little gap where the color rings once were but that is not a problem at all. If you want to make it absolutely perfect, you would need to cut just half of each color ring, which is way too much hassle in my opinion.
I’m glad you mentioned this. Sennheiser has a recessed mmcx connection so it’s not approximating the standard mmcx. You need a something described as specifically sennheiser mmcx compatible with IE xxx. I have other mmcx cans and can’t use it with an IE mmcx cable.
Janjunsi MMCX Upgrade Cable Replacement Cord Compatible with Sennheiser IE300 IE600. Seems to be designed for the "ie range." If these cables are not "clicking" then they are not fitted properly and will distort the sound and slip out.
Have had mine for barley 6 months and the cable is going out on me, even though I take great care of my audio equipment. Looked on their website and saw a replacement is $100……$100 for a basic replacement cable after already paying $700 for the earbuds. I’m so furious with sennheiser right now.
Hi there I bought the cable Tripowin Linsoul for my IE600 and you said take off the plastic bits so it will properly clip into the IE600 how did you manage to take off those plastic bits on the cable? Thanks

Just pick up one of these. Cheaper and better.
@@PerputuallyCensored ok will do. They don’t affect sound quality at all?
No.
Just asking do these fit with ie 300?

I got mine off using a little penknife. Be careful.
Thanks for the quick reply I’ll give that a shot
@@PerputuallyCensored I bought this cable and after removing the plastic bits, it still doesn't fit.
@@PerputuallyCensoredhi:) do you think these would fit ie 300?
@@jhoncristal4499 No idea. You’d need to check and compare the sizes of the 300 to the 600. If they are identical size then it will fit.
What’s the best cable for Fiio JD7?
"best" is entirely subjective and I have no idea what exactly you mean. Any on this video are fine for me. Your mileage may vary.
