Three things I need cleared up in the show before it ends: 1) why did Garnet get hypnotized by Meat Beat Mania (I feel like it has something to do with her future vision) 2) who makes the different species of corrupted gems 3) what the hell poofed amethyst between the "long" intro and the first episode
I think Garnet got hypnotized by Meat Beat Mania because of her future vision, like you said. The game never ends unless you lose, so she gets endless future vision from winning every round (or even by hitting every meat to the beat). She is stuck in that vision and loses sight of the present.
There are a lot of continuity errors when it comes to early season 1 and now. I remember the Gems gasping for air when they submerged in the ocean at one point (I think it was in Cheeseburger Backpack), even though Gems don't need to breath. There's also character stuff like Pearl liking pie even though she finds eating disgusting (the writers said she likes the process of making pie instead), and flashbacks with Garnet having her behave more like her current characterization than her original stoic personality.

It would explain Greg’s hair loss and Rose’s expression being the exact same as the painting. I don’t know whether to believe it or not, just thought I’d toss the theory out there in case people didn’t know about it

I swear, every "theory" (I use that term very loosely for one very _damned_ good reason) I hear these days always seems to intentionally leave out anything that might contradict it; case in point, the 'Rose somehow still alive after Steven is born' thing: Rose, to Steven, via video left in Lion: "We can't both exist." the fact that Gem-ness is intrinsically linked to Steven's very being, with how he's semi-affected by Gem Disruptor, and how tied together it is to his emotions; putting that in *_after_* his birth would have undoubtedly been needlessly complicated, as it would need to pretty much rewrite his very being, and that's not even going into that probably being exceedingly painful (healing magic doesn't work unless there's something to heal, after all)

He’s a gem powered human in the same way lapis was a gem powered mirror, the difference is the whether gem adopts that form as it’s own, which pink diamonds gem chose to do. Which really makes me wonder about the object gems on homeworld, the walls and blue’s comb gem: if their gems were removed from their object would they choose to take a new form, or reflect the form they were given? Likely some of both
