They stopped as drivers complained that it is difficult to raise complaints or discuss on track behaviour of other drivers, when a camera is in your face and the same would be uploaded for millions to see.

We miss Charlie in F1. Such a great guy: calm, collected and always there for the drivers and their safety. After the mess we had in Saudi-Arabia just yesterday and some other races over the last few years it gets even more obviuos what an amazing job Charlie did.
Also bring back those driver briefings for us. I think its very interesting to see the drivers outside of their car and how they interact in these briefings.
Don't think they'll bring back the driver briefings tho. Since drivers report stuff and all. It caused some outrage among the fans against the drivers. Just like Romain, he told Charlie about Lewis undoing his seatbelt etc, and he got a lot of hate for that. So I think It's for the best they shouldn't show It so all drivers can voice their complaints without receiving any negative feedback afterwards.
@@chrisskit_8934 Cameras should be in there, drivers should still speak their minds up, fans are still going to smack talk drivers about anything if they televise it or not.

How is the audio of the drivers speaking better than Charlie's when he's sitting right in front of the microphone?
+Web crawler Charlie's voice is always like that. Even in interviews with the media he's quite hard to hear.
halofreak1990 definitely that, and they use different audio sources. You can hear through the middle that they use the mics picking up the room sound, and not using charlies anymore. That way you can hear the drivers. I don't know why they turned charlies mic down, maybe it broke or something.

I watched this on my surround sound and at the beginning and when it switched away from Charlie, it sounded like I was sitting in the room with all the drivers.

@@AdvaitTarkar he's been whiney on the radio ever since he began in F1. It's just how he reacts in the heat of the moment. We're all like that to a certain degree, and it also doesn't help that his radio gets focussed on so much compared to other drivers.

Though I'm sure these are edited to avoid anything controversial, kudos to Liberty for posting these clips. Anything that brings the fans deeper inside F1 goes a long way toward boosting F1's popularity.

There should be more such briefing videos after every race or after few hours it takes place. This really keeps us fan more close to what happens behind the scenes. I would be great if we have a similar from Japan and all races after it.
