As a full odds shiny hunter, the majority of us do not care if you use speed up or how you find it. Just be honest about it. Also, you’re going through the whole series. I would do the same thing I’m sure.

missing the shiny poochyena at the beginning reminded me of the time i found a shiny sliggoo in swsh (dynamax battle) and it broke free from its pokeball and ran away :(
If I remember correctly, Synchronize makes it so you find pokemon more frequently with a matching nature to that pokemon. So, you can blame the Abra lol Edit: Checked it and yeah, lol. It does
33:33 the main reason you have 3 mild nature pokemon is because you had abra in the front of your party for the majority of the game and synchronize has a 50% chance to give your pokemons nature to any wild encounter
I’ve done full odds 8192, full odds 4096, Masuda, SOS, chain fishing, wormholes, friend safari, RNG manipulation, you name it. Never once have I been judged by any shiny hunter for any of it. Most people are chill

@@Oshawaves If you're curious, stuff like flashing lights actually have to be a certain frequency to cause seizures. I believe typically it's 5 to 20 flashes per second, but I could be misremembering.
I only found shinies without trying and they were with no ahiny charm, a nummel first encounter in a cave, and a chansey while soft reset to find a chansey first reset.
I did my first shiny only playthrough in this game last year and it was some of the most fun I've had in a pokemon game. Got extremely lucky by getting shiny Treecko in under 50 resets and everything else was quick too because I used hordes. Wish I could have shiny hunted Kyogre though.
Luster Purge is indeed terrible… up until Scarlet and Violet where they finally buffed it to be stronger than Psychic!! Only took them 7 generations to get the move right.

We love luster purge in this house. Do not discriminate against luster purge. There has never been a psychic move greater than luster purge. Psybeam definitely isn’t a better option than puster lurge. Nothing beats buster furge

I'm over 100hrs into an Omega Ruby Professor Oak's challenge and have still only found one shiny... in the first 30hrs I have really bad luck with shinies and am about to shiny hunt Reshiram on it Absolutely amazing luck on (most of.... Latios I'm looking at you) this run👏
As someone whos gonna start doing this stuff soon (no shameless plug, not even gonna be uploading to this account) but as soemone who is and is most likely gonna be a shiny hunter/nuzlocker, isc if a youtuber increases speed or increases shiny odds or those who use 4 screens to hunt 1 shiny i dont mind any of that. Just bc youre a youtuber/streamer doesnt mean you arent human with human limits and time restrictions. You got other things to fo as well as this 😂
When I played My nuzlocke, I had found a first encounter shiny Azurill which was a good luck charm since I never lost any pokemon. It was in Y by the way.
