i agree on the fact that this is a particular fragrance, that's why choosing Julian Casablancas for it was the perfect move ;)
i am not a big fan of parfumes that i generally find in shops, but this is the one that made me think "wow, so intense and surprising, i've never smelled anything like this before, it's mindblowing, just like alternative rock music is!"
the idea of the microphone spraying the fragrance like it would spread the voice sound to the people listening (i even imagined a sort of spellbinding, hypnotic and soothing gas just like alice in wonderland! ahahah!), is a perfectly appropriate idea.
i felt very represented by this fragrance (maybe even because lemon and liquorice are very popular in my country), so represented that it was the first fragrance that made me buy a bottle of perfume (i bought 2 actually, one for collection) and it became my favourite fragrance ever, just like the strokes are my favourite band ever. :) both, the fragrance and the band, i liked them as love at first sight (instant crush, quoting a recent song by Julian!) and i keep on loving them as they evolve. ;)
This is such a different fragrance for a designer release with so many creative risks taken, and I am so happy that you found a fragrance that speaks to you and that you absolutely love! This is a great fragrance indeed and truly stands out from others in my collection, both in terms of the presentation and the smell. The incense, the licorice, the lemon, and just everything about it. Thank you for sharing and commenting on my video. It means a lot to me. I'm so happy to hear from you. Thanks , yes I tried it but was not taken. Azzaro pour Homm has been one if my biggest complement getter since I was 18 . 28 years later and a huge selection, it's still pulling complements. Visit is quite good too . I remember your great review on that one .

"tacky" bottle - The bottle is a microphone for the reason of giving a first-hand rockstar experience--holding a microphone. It's a way to bring the dream so many have had alive for that moment...
AVA DIANTHUS ZAZ vs. Adam Levine's fragrance bottle "does it better," "sleek and contemporary." His bottle doesn't attempt to break invisible walls and handover the rockstar experience. His bottles keeps it apart, away, reserved for only the rockstars while the rest of us can only admire from a respectful distance.

I don't get why people hate it, I have never been told that I smell bad with it btw, but all I see in the interwebs is hate about Decibel. Well I don't really care I love it. Now it's not very suitable for summer tho so can I get some recommendations for a something fresh I used Lacoste Essential but I got fed up with it.

Así que un amigo que trae perfumes luego de buscar mucho lo encontró pero en versión Set Gift y estoy a la espectativa creo que lo traerá de Europa y tomara aproximada un mes

This stuff works really well in the club. I got three Complements in one night . But your right it's not for everyone .
To all frag heads, Fragrancenet.com has a .85ml size for $11.35. For that price it's worth getting it, only because of how Redolessence has described it. Something freaky for the Halloween Party and late Fall nights.

Yeah... you know.. I bought this because my (now ex) GF was so into Julian Casablancas and really wanted to smell it. I'm not sure how much I like it, but I do find that it has a place from time to time. I wholly agree with your review. I wear it sometimes when going out because it does stand out, and it works well in the winter (for me). However, I don't see this as very original or shockingly great. Aaaaand... other people don't care for it. The sweet, gourmandy vanilla is almost too much.

This isn't a bad fragrance. It's weird but not bad.
It smells like really harsh lemon soap, vanilla and black licorice.
