I remember reading someone's comment on a 2Kids Room these two did 2/3 years ago where they said they suddenly understood why this pair worked, and it was because Lee Know can follow a very peculiar train of thought and Han just rolls with it. They really do have their own style of communication. Lee Know has never seemed the best with verbal expression, he shows care through action, he's a very patient teacher, he looks after people through quietly taking care of stuff like cooking for them, buying them snacks etc.. But he's also someone who seems to get uncomfortable with overt affection from everyone but Han (and to a certain degree Felix). One of the famous moments in their history is really early on, before they debuted when they were undergoing their first evaluation in front of the label CEO to see if they were going to get to debut as a group. Han was really nervous and it showed. In another evaluation when this happened Changbin tried to calm him down with words and Han played it off with humour, but in this one, Lee Know said nothing, just took his hand, swung it a bit, then squeezed tight and held it and suddenly Han was smiling and seemed more relaxed. Then later in that same evaluation Lee Know's part was changed on the spot and he was told to rap for the first time. He was very nervous, but as his part came up, Han held his hand and helped him keep the beat. Lee Know spoke afterwards how much that moment meant to him. For some reason with these two, as much as they do joke and have fun, their tactile affection is often a lot more genuine than the more teasing affection a lot of the other members express (except Felix who often seeks out contact for comfort not play). There are several moments recorded over the years of Lee Know noticing Han is feeling a bit tired or anxious and being able to just make him smile or calm him down with a touch. Equally Lee Know can have the most unpredictable reactions and Han can immediately play along. They have great chemistry when it comes to joking about, but they also don't seem to be self conscious about the fact they really love each other. They frequently use endearments like 'honey' or 'baby' towards each other, they will seek out physical contact like holding hands or just resting against each other when low energy, they easily and frequently say 'I love you' to each other. All the friendships in SKZ have their own uniqueness and beauty but these two always stand out to me because you're right I think, Lee Know has walls a little with everyone else. He loves them, but he relaxes in a very noticeable way when he's with Han. And as a fellow weird person, I just love how these two have found their own weird dynamic, live in their own little world and are absolutely shining in it.

I totally agree when you say that Han brings out the weirdness in Lee Know! Han has a tendency to make people comfortable around him and I think that sort of comfortability allows Lee Know to put down his "walls" or defense mechanisms and lets himself loose around Han. I get why people love this pairing so much - they click because they're "weird "and that no-judgment and freeness lets them bring out the trueness in themselves (especially Lee Know). They're often said to be in their own little world (like how Seungmin referred to them as secret friends) , and refer to each other as their soulmates, and I think that's what makes this friendship so unique!!

Just look at Lee Know's posture, he is actually leaning in which is CRAZY! Check every other episode and he is always at the edge of the sofa and pushing himself backwards. That is the level of connection he has to Han. Also he is a tsundere, you can not just touch his finger or chest as you wish, you will be dead before you realize. When it comes to Han, all his rules go out of the window. I am so happy that Lee Know has that one person! I think Han is comfortable with every other member.
I noticed this too... Lee Know's body language is so open to Han... and he even initiated physical contact with the E.T. finger connection... also he put his hand so close to Han's hands at the back of the sofa... almost touching Han's hand, actually... I have never seen that before with Lee Know and the other SKZ members.. amazing! They are really soulmates.
@@mmariedelle5511 I know right! His whole demeanor in this episode is brand-new to me. He lets I.N. into his personal space as well but still I.N. would never dare have physical contact with him. And also just look at him listening to every single word Han has to say, he genuinely cares! Lee Know... CARES!😳
Han can be friendly with everyone, but he only really reveals himself with Leeknow, they opened their strangeness to each other, they don't need to pretend or defend themselves, they don't need to be funny, they are just very comfortable together, they can be silent or talk and enjoy each other.
I really enjoy our analysis of the two.
One thing though, you argue that Han helps Lee Know embrace his weirdness, because Han himself appears to be more comfortable with his own. I think it's actually the other way around. When Lee Know first became part of JYPE and Stray Kids, everyone was very quick to point out that he is weird and in completely different space than all the other boys. Han however was very insecure and shy in the beginning and I feel like he struggled a lot with accepting his and his uniqueness to a point where he was always on the fence and defending himself. In general, from what we know, Han was quiet an angry teenager that felt very misunderstood but was also unable to own himself. I think Lee Know helped him a lot in excepting himself. He has shown him that it is not a bad thing to be different and that he always has his back. Lee Know might not appear like he owns his weirdness when you just get to know him, but he very much does. He is just not as open and expressive as Han is.
What you said about Han actually made me realize why I like him so much 🤔 He seems like he wouldn't mind another person being a bit awkward or weird and that's really comforting
Han is my weakness in SKZ. I worry about him burning out or crash since day 1. Having Lee Know watching over him and protecting him makes me feel better. Lee Know is mentally tough and no nonsense, exactly what Han needs to lean on. Han’s mental map is complicated enough. Lee Know’s “strip life down to basic” personality is the best complement to Han’s “everything can be a rabbit hole” mind.
Among all 8 of them, Han is definitely a weird genius. It is hard for him to click with ppl comfortably. Lucky him there is Lee Know, another weird one (in different ways). Han’s weird is admired by Lee Know. Lee Know’s weird tickles Han’s fancy. They seem to endlessly amuse each other no matter what. They also don’t get upset with each other for too long.
Doesn’t matter if this relationship is romantic or platonic, it is magical to witness. I think a lot of us wish to have a soulmate for life.

Their friendship is so special. As someone who also struggles with anxiety, like Han, along with other mental health issues, I know just how important it is to have someone by your side that you are just 100% comfortable with and you know will always be there. Skz in general is always like that for each other but Lee Know and Han are so special and you can tell they just get each other. It makes me incredibly happy to know that they really are true soulmates that found each other
Lee Know is just a big cat. If he trusts/loves you he'll accept a belly rub, but his claws are out the whole time to remind you.
Everything you said about Han is so accurate that's why he's my comfort celebrity. he makes me happy by just being the person he is because he kinda reminds me of myself lol

Max is crazy how you can read their personalities exactly, like lee know, people take a long time to understand him, everyone thinks he is super serious and some say that he doesn't care about the members when in fact he is a sweetheart with an extraordinary personality.

You're right. After learning the personalities of all skz members, I realized that Han is really a unique and inspiring person. I don't know how to explain it, it's just that if you decide to get to know him, you will know that Han is really great, not only as the most multitalented idol, but as a person, Han is a great person.
when he said "maybe some of you watching right now are also inspired by han, because he's just him", i literally burst into tears. I can't even explain how much comfort han brings to me, and I'm sure to other stays as well. Just by watching him being himself keeps me going through the day. I love that the way he shows his funny side and weirdness brightens up the day of many people, especially the members' if you watch their interactions. He is such a sunshine, and I just love him so much. Han jisung is definitely a comfort person, a safe space. 😩💕
+++ just adding here the fact that he is the epitome of talent and can literally do everything. He is definitely recognized as an all-rounder and an ace in kpop. Istg when I think of this guy I can't help but wonder how can someone have every good thing in him, from personality to talent. What a complete package.
As a fan I can say that Lee Know and Han has a kind of friendship that was created based on: "I don't know why, but I like you, I'll support you, later I find out" From the beginning you can see that all the boys had a a certain level of interaction, and they tried to support each other because professionally it was an "all or nothing" for them, but their relationship from the beginning was always different, they understood each other and even after years we still continue to see how united they are , and how they protect and feel safe next to each other. Even their body language is different, they turn around until they are facing each other, and look each other in the eyes without awkwardness, and even the touch comes easy if it was one of the other members, they would be embarrassed or say it was weird. It's really nice to see how comfortable they are with each other.
The thing i noticed alot about the two of them, is how open Lee know's body language is to Han compared to others, he is completely open. They are there for each other, its great to see this closeness within the group. I love how Stray kids are so open with each other compared to some groups.
When you mentioned how they show their weirdness together it reminded me of the concept of their latest album. The name is Oddinary and its basically about how embracing your weirdness should be normal and ordinary. That's really nice to think about, thank you for the video!

You are so on point with your interpretation of their relationship. But when you get to know them better, you will see that leeknow is definitely the weird one. In fact he is the weirdest one in stray kids (in the best way possible ofc). Han is considered normal compared to leeknow.
Yes but I think han is weird not just bcz of his behaviour bt bcz of his interests in random things like animals , nature, documentaries , the way he observes and gets inspired by things he likes/around him , the way he sees different dimensions of situations/reality and different concept domains of subject matter(as said by the other members in one kids room) and he is unapologetic about his taste, behaviour and personality .
I really liked the point you made about Lee know being comfortable in accepting love from Han in this teasing way. I relate to this alot. And one of the main reason is because I am not very direct in my affection. Not with words nor with actions. Like I wouldn't say "I love you, or I care for you" to ppl who really matter to me. Because i dnt like labeling relationships and putting that kinda pressure on the other person. The depth of their feelings might be different than mine and if its not equal, it might create some imbalance in our dynamic.
And I think thats how lee know works too. He cares for ppl around him but he shows it in a very subtle way, without actually making it grand or obvious. Almost in a natural way. And thats why its easier to accept love in similar fashion. Otherwise it makes one shy, embarrased and worst case burdened.

also, their body language! lee know seems to be the type to be more reserved in terms of affection, if you remember his episode with chan, when chan tried to be close with lee know, he kind of backed off. this is interesting cause he's so open with han, again the comfortability around them just shows
We Minsungers are basically shameless about how much we adore those two together. I swear to god it was Han sees Lee Know, Han Thinks BOI! that is hot. Han takes Lee know's had when he was terrified to rap. Lee Know hold said hand back and never let go.

I wondered why I like Han so much. He gets my attention when he's goofy, funny, and cool.
Then seeing Lee Know and I had this weird feeling why I didn't at first like Lee Know as someone that looks unapproachable. Lee Know reminds me of myself and I closed off others I'm not close to. And seeing this kind of Lee Know when he's with Han makes me smile as Lee Know is actually a nice guy and Han makes him feel good.

I feel like the way they clic so well is because they both know how to approach the other in the right way. For example as you said LeeKnow might appreciate a more “discrete“ way of people showing love to him and Han is just made like that, it feels natural for him to approach LeeKnow that way. That’s their strength, they just get each other and honestly they are so lucky to have this kind of connection.
this is my favorite 2kr episode! i love seeing the comfortability between the two that it doesn't seem like they're filming anything, they're just saying what they want to say to each other. and the way they freely move around their conversation is so interesting to me, they'll talk about one topic and then talk about another in an instant without being awkward, it just flows smoothly.
and what makes me love their dynamic more is that, following what changbin said, lee know seems to filter his words with the other members despite being super close with them, but when it comes to han, he can freely say anything and everything, it just shows how he's really comfortable around him, i love it so much.

Lee Know is so tsundere toward most people, but he lets Han do things he wouldn't let the other members do. And he's said multiple times he feels comfortable opening up to Han. And they don't usually really have deep convos (like the first two 2kids rooms), they just always talk to each other normally. And the compliments TT They're so good at complimenting each other while also teasing. IT's just- amazing. I want this friendship.
I agree with what you said about Han bringing out the weirdness in Lee Know. It also reminds me that one of them said something along these lines before: that they got along so well because they don't care about what the other thinks. I think that ties in closely with what you said about Han not being judgmental, and it might go both ways for them.
i think everyone wishes to have something like jisung and minho have. being openly the weird you without getting judged. i hope these two won't ever lose each other :)

you read these two so accurately, you even picked up on some things i didn't notice in my 4+ years as a stray kids fan. i think something really beautiful about these two and this particular episode of 2kr is how we learned a lot more about them through how close they are with each other. i've noticed and always wondered how lee know is so emotionally guarded especially when he's close to someone like han who can sometimes be a powder keg of emotions (said lovingly lol) but it makes sense that he'd feel most comfortable around han because han isnt afraid to show all the weird sides of himself to the people he's closest to. i might hop on patreon and watch the rest because i'm curious about your reaction to something changbin said here too
Han with any of skz members is a delight! I feel how much he loves every person, he shines when he's successful in making someone laugh/smile... I also think he's someone who can easily make you comfortable in conversation, I've noticed it now only in 2 kids roomm but also while watching his videocalls with fans - he usually matches person's energy really well)
I love how Lee Know's body language is so different around Han -- he's open and has an arm extended on the couch behind Han and is sitting close compared to when he and Chan did 2KR together and he had his legs crossed and kept to himself at the other side of the couch. Gotta love Minsung 😊
I also noticed that in the position where Lee Know sits you can see how comfortable he is with Han, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but with the other members he sits with his body facing forward, however with Han he sits with his body looking at him, as if giving him a little more of his attention
now i understand why i feel so drawn to han and so comforted by just watching him be himself, i never really thought about why that is, but i totally see the reason now. he is so unapologetic in the way he embraces himself that it makes you feel good about being whoever and whatever you are as well. thank you for the great analysis :)
The reason i love han and lee know so much is because i can relate to them. As you said, they, especially Han, embrace their weirdness and so do I. I've been told that all my life. When I was little i was bothered by it but when i was like 17-18 or so i accepted it as a good thing and as a part that represents who I am.❤️

Lee Know and Han have both said they don't like to have deep conversations (which I find ironic because they both have amazing, often deep insight when they do talk to each other and the other members).
They have also said that when they are together, they often don't talk at all. They just comfortably and trustingly co-exist in the same space. They just have an instinctual friendship.
I love Han so much his personality is so unique and I am like leeknow waiting for someone to get my weirdness out so I hope I can find a person like Han someday:)

I was looking forward to you doing this one. I was hoping you would talk about their body language, how they were turned toward each other and looking at each other when they talked. I've heard you do it with other members and found it interesting. It was also my favourite 2 kids room so far. I love how they just continually laughed and the conversation, while all over the place, just kept flowing. They also kept it going after they took their last photo, which I may be wrong but I don't think I've seen any of the other pairing do. lee know and han are both such unique people in their own way that it’s so interesting seeing them together.
just like han, lee know is a very unfiltered person. he’s described as weird by others even more than han is. anytime they do things, play games or are on shows, lee know says something out of nowhere that makes you go “what was his thought process behind this!?”
it’s part of his humor, this is how he mainly expresses himself. he is uninterested in interviews, both korean and english ones, and doesn’t pretend to be otherwise. he teases STAYs during lives and doesn’t try to be nice to them or flirt which is what a lot of idols do.
he is secretly a very kind and humble person, he started working at 15, got his first cat from a shelter, he donates regularly especially to animal organizations. barely anyone knows these things about him because he doesn’t mention them, he doesn’t strive for others to view him in a good light.
han graduated highschool at 14-15 years old, and then moved from malaysia to korea where he got accepted to their company as a trainee immediately. he is a lyrical genius and can freestyle raps on the spot, which he has done so many times on radio shows.
in some of his solo songs, for example in alien, he talks about feeling lonely or different from others, “i’m an alien on this earth”. but also that he takes pride in the fact that he’s come so far, and that he keeps going despite how much it hurts sometimes.
han is a very unique person and he’s very aware that he is, in positive and negative ways. if you are interested, you can read the english translation for the song to find out a little more about his inner feelings!

Leeknow likes to get love probably through knowledge about him, for example he really cares about his cats, there was a time when only Han knew their names, could tell them apart and kept asking about them, so Leeknow trusted him and introduced Han to his cats, eventually in a mock drawing where he drew everyone ugly, but only Han was handsome and surrounded in the drawing by Leeknow cats.

I’m so glad they have each other in their lives , I really do think Han brings out this certain side of Lee know that he typically shy’s away from sometimes , Lee know is very weird and unique . When he gets happy and excited it definitely shows how he really can be , and he is like that all the time with Han . I think also Han has grown a lot into himself and expresses his unique weirdness so much easier and naturally now than around pre debut era .
Yes, Lee Know definitely received love more comfortably this way. He feels uncomfortable when the moment has compliments or a show of love like a directed beam of light. When the complimenting itself IS A MOMENT ITSELF; he likes it more when it’s in the flow of life and conversation.
I don’t know if u know this but Got7 are coming back as a whole group after leaving JYP and earning copyrights for their name and their songs which is amazing! Jay b as a leader worked hard to earn their copyrights and he did it! And now they announced their comeback with a new album! I hope u will react to the interviews that they do when they drop their new album🥺❤️

Han and Lee Know are soulmates.
Lee Know at first glance has a tsundere type personality where he pretends to not care. He typically shows his love for his members in subtle ways such as making them food or doing things for them. It’s hard to gauge him in interview’s especially English interviews. He typically doesn’t talk much at all in English interviews. Possibly because he isn’t confident in his English so he lets the other members who are more fluent talk.
Watching him through other Stray Kids content like behind the scenes music videos, the Bubble messaging app, or vlogs, you can really see and get to know him better.
That being said, you can really see a special bond between Lee Know and Han. They bring each other out of their shell in a way. Lee Know tends to calm Han down when he’s showing signs of anxiety or being uncomfortable. Han kind of amps Lee Know up and gets him to show his weird side more. They definitely embrace each other’s weird side.
It’s always fun to see an outsiders view on Stray Kids, especially from a professional stand point. They are so lovable, unique, and kind. Thanks for a great video!
It’s interesting though how Lee know is seen as someone more independent and stand offish but the members said that he can’t live without Han but Han seems like he brings the energy up and struggles with anxiety yet the members say that he can live without Minho and doesn’t rely on anyone. It’s almost like the opposite of what people would think
The bond between Han and Minho is genuinely so special and there's a reason so many people fall in love with that. As they said themselves, they're "not the type of people to care about what others think" (although there's always exceptions to this truth), they love each other and it's easy to see. Lee Know seems like the type of person to not trust easily, but when he does, he'll cherish that person in his life for the rest of his life. Even the other members have said that from the very beginning these two have had a special bond and I'm glad that they continue to do whatever they want and show their affection to each other no matter what haters or shippers say.
When you spend so much of your younger years striving for success, and in Lino's case, he achieved it as a backup dancer (in a way), but you're also alone, the first person you meet who truly accepts you is going to be special. Han seems the type of person to always know how to make the people around him feel comfortable and light hearted, especially as someone with social anxiety (I have it too, and pls don't come for me, I actually hate when people attribute everything to a diagnosis), we tend to be more perceptive of our surroundings and try to make others feel comfort in that space that we may not. They really do bring out the funniest and best parts of each other.
As a side note: I really have a lot of appreciation for this comment section. Been stuck on the shipper side of tiktok for the past month and I'm about to lose my mind... I really just appreciate the people mentioning their love for their friendship, and that Han and Lee Know as well as the rest of the members are openly showing a gentle masculinity and pushing gender boundaries (especially in a place like Korea with it's conservative belief system) and that it's okay to be in love with someone platonically.

Han and Lee Know are the true definition of soulmates. They both complete and compliment each other so well. Also I know many people like to ship them and how they also call themselves soulmates, but I think what some people forget is that best friends can be soulmates too, its not just limited to romantic relationships and I think Minsung is a great example of that.

Half comes from heteronormalization (and deep rooted homophobia unintentionally of course) and the other half comes from a monogamous normalization (based on the idea that if you love someone, it's only romantic). This is so sweet that just made me love them more. I already resonate with Han through his music and the lyrics he writes about him feeling different, an outcast and being misunderstood and particularly I love Lee Know since I indentify with many aspects of his personality, weirdness, pride, displays of affection through teasing, jokes and caring tenderly for the boys through actions without expecting anything back. Lee Know and Han are one of the closet relationships in stray kids. It's also easy to notice how much more open Lee Know is around han.
The thing is however Han would call himself or LK or whatever he says, Lee Know would just be in his head "Ahh, so like this, he knows what he percepts, so whatever he calls it it's the same". "I just like this alien or human.". And Han is like "You're the weird one, I feel comfortable tho so it doesn't matter". And they're both attached to each other, especially bc Han gives his hand and good vibes in incredibly hard situations, but they're both like " He's the one that likes me, I don't like him" when someone mentions " and LK likes having Han around even if they do nothing and shows physical affection, even if Han pulls away, he gives in eventually in a very fun way. The thing is I feel like Han doesn't demand it from Lee Know, so LK does it like a sign of trust and showing that he's comfortable because he rarely Express it directly with words. They're a special dynamic

I agree!! Lee Know is more comfortable when the members show him love by teasing him and making jokes, and that's also his way of showing love. We don't see him being "direct" about it very often like Chan and Felix are.
I think you're right about the weirdness thing but I feel like it's reversed. It seems more likely to me that Lee Know's unapologetic uniqueness gives Han the space to embrace his own oddities.

Loved this! I'm so glad you see why basically all STAYs love Minsung 🥰 They get each other, and I think we all aspire to have someone we can just be ourselves around like that! Also I totally agree with you that Lee Know takes compliments better when they're presented in a jokey way, or hidden in some sarcasm or teasing. I think most of the members only compliment him directly to rile him up 😂
I have social anxiety like Han does and i am so happy that he has someone like that to be around. Life with social anxiety is so exhausting it is wonderful to have someone to be comfortable around because i do not so the only time that i can be truly comfortable is when i am alone and it takes away from your life. I barely interact with people because it always leads to those horrible emotions and i love that he has someone who he can be around and still be happy.

among many other things about them, i feel like han tends to overthink little things. meanwhile, lee know is more carefree and he seems like he lives his life one day at a time, so they make a good match when spending time together. as lee know said “time heals everything”, i think being with lee know makes han more relaxed and able to rest his mind a little.

These 2 are absolutely soulmates, doesn't matter if it's platonic or romantic. I just enjoy seeing them together and interacting. They are both so comfortable with eachother and they compliment the other's personality so well.

We technically don't know what kind of relationship they have and quite frankly, it's none of our business but if they say they're friends then we should accept it as that. What i would add is, since this seemed so han-centric, it's that's lee know indulges han in this weirdness which allows han to be himself and thus also inspires lee know to be.
