I have this mattress and my hubby and I love it. Ours is on a adjustable base. We’ve experienced no problems and continue to get the best sleep. We’ve had it for 8 months with no complaints.
Really enjoyed this review; very thorough! I think you just helped me purchase my first mattress, lol. I'll be sure to use your link. Keep up the good work!
This is such a good video! Other reviews have said "not for side sleepers" and so I'm concerned. But DoubleTree Hotels by Hilton just installed the DreamCloud mattresses in their hotel rooms in Atlanta, GA and I'm thinking that they will do the same around the country. That was my first introduction to DreamCloud by Nectar and I remember asking at the front desk upon check-out what mattresses they had. They told me DreamCloud. I have to replace my terrible TempurPedic mattress which is a complete lie by a very corrupt company. It is a minefield of pressure points with a huge crevasse in the center dipping after one year. So you have to hold on to the side and hoist yourself over the hill to get to the other side. I toss and turn literally all night! I purchased the 90 day warranty and they made me buy a mattress cover. The company is rude, corrupt, could "care less" (I mean, not one second) about the customer because they are so greedy and deceptive. I finally put two and two together after two TempurPedic mattresses (the first one sold to me was the softest in the line although I had requested a firm mattress - always do your homework, people!) and that lasted 3 months. With the second mattress, I have developed severe back arthritis on my lower back. If you check all of the reviews, there are literally HUNDREDS of people all having back problems because of TempurPedic mattress. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS EVER!!!! I'm considering a class action lawsuit because this is a "cost cut" engineer-modified design for pure profit and the support is negligent. Their disclaimer: you are not able to return a mattress for reasons of "discomfort or a bad night's sleep" (something along those lines) so if the mattress is wholly uncomfortable and non-supportive, you may not return it. I say this because I don't want anyone to fall prey to this type of criminal activity. Buy yourself a good mattress like this one mentioned here or another. I paid $3800 for my Queen TempurPedic, the "Contour Elite" and now they are discontinuing it (to hide the evidence). In its place, they are now rolling out the "original TempurPedic" because they are going back to adding in more of the original design (my guess is because of the myriad of complaints, lawsuits, etc.) Sorry to take up so much time on your website; however, I'm so glad to hear that DreamCloud is such a hit. There are some bad reviews also, but mostly good!
Thanks for the review I was torn between this and a lucid hybrid it was great seeing one person review both. Love your reviews btw they are very down to earth and relatable. Also, wanted to let you know I used your link 👍
Just something to think about when making your choice on the dream cloud mattress. I finally made my choice and when checking out not only did they Pull the $200 discount code they added another $258 so my queen mattress went up from $1199 to$1548 just for choosing the 6 month payments they offer. I talked with them and with no help at all. Now I reviewed the cuopon mumbo they have on the cuopon use information and it does not state you can not use this with the payment option. They should clearly have this information up front. if you pay all up front that's an OK deal BUT if you need to use the payment method that looks like one very large finance charge for 6 months. This just makes all the difference for my purchase power and just will not waist that finance charge no matter how good the bed is. AND THAT IS THAT
I didn't try it very much on my stomach (Only a couple minutes), as I use a CPAP when I sleep -- making stomach sleeping almost impossible. Therefore, I may not be of much help. However, the few minutes I did try, the "grooves" were not noticeable. Also remember you have 365 nights to return it if you don't like it! Thanks for watching.
Hi Chris, thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching. Yes, the mattress is manufactured in China (though the company headquarters is in the US). You can see I have a few comments on my blog along those lines: www.dugroz.com/2018/04/dreamcloud-mattress-review.html
Thank you. I did just buy the Dreamcloud, today. But I’m trying not to buy from China because of questionable ethical labor practices and I worry about their toxic environmental issues. Hopefully Dreamcloud isn’t effected by these. I’ll check out your blog.
@@cmisita - Thanks! They say the Dreamcloud is made is small custom batches, so I would "think" the labor practices are ethical. But, short of one of us going to China and observing in person, there really isn't a way to know with certainty. Thanks again for watching!
Hi. How do you think it would truly stand up to a 500lb bedridden person, 24/7 365. You defined the everlong warranty good enough. Just asking your opinion.
Hi Jeff. A tough question. Obviously, a person who spends 24/7 in bed is going to be a lot harder on the mattress than someone who spends 8 hours per day in bed. I just don't know. I'm sure with a person of that size, in bed that much, there will be damage and indentations with a year or two. I would guess it would be in horrible shape within 3 years, but I would say the same thing about almost all consumer-grade mattresses. I've heard there are "medical mattresses" that are designed for such a thing, but I'm no expert in that department. Almost all mattress warranties have clauses that void the warranty in "extreme usage" situations. Don't know if that would apply here, but it might.
Thanks dugroz. I went to their site and chatted with oncall staff and asked them the same question. Their reply was the quality and workmanship and materials would not deteriorate over the lifetime of original ownership. Hmmm, still not sure about that statement.

Can this mattress be use with an adjustable bed frame?
Yes. In fact, they sell their own adjustable bed frame for it (or you can use others). See the link - tinyurl.com/dreamcloud-dugroz
If it had a sealy or sterns and foster name on it how much would it cost you think
Probably double.
Good review. 2 questions: have you tried it while on your stomach ? Did you feel the grooves while moving at night (they seem prononced).
