What a cool build this has turned out to be! The 2023 Peterbilt 389 is blacked out with just the right amount shinny. Overall we are pleased with how this truck came together. Be sure and check out @angelina.garage to see more of this truck in the future.

Honestly my favorite build so far! I would have to do a black and machined wheel to really send it home! Also love the translucent Pete emblem! Nice job guys.
yeah, i was thinking black wheels with a polished lip for contrast to the tire.
I’m very sad 😢 that is a very beautiful truck, all of the trucks you guys build are extremely beautiful. I wish I knew how to afford a truck like that. I would love to have a truck that came from your shop. I’ve been a fan of your shop for a long time, and I’ve been trying so hard for almost 2 years to get a job driving for Bill Rethwisch and I don’t have any luck. I really like it. HOWWW. EVERRR. Me personally I think it would look better with more chrome " Stacks tanks I think the Old School Air Filters painted black" with the chrome top would go good with it. but I'm not just a Old School guy.
Now I have a question for the two of you.
Cause I've thought about this for a long time. What would think about taking a 2022 389 flat top and going through it and making it look like a Brand New 359. Original paint scheme redoing the interior just making it look like a 2022 359.. put an air foil on the sleeper. Leave me a comment and let me know what you thought about that. Thanks.
Would definitely be cool to do….or take a 359 and out it on a new 2022 chassis.
Very cool semi but I would like to see it at night and you said what the trans was and how much horsepower, but what engine? Totally cool though.
It will be "speckled chrome" after some sand blasting from the road.....had underside of my fenders rhino lined, sorry, but you still gonna get dings from rocks.....nice ride tho....

It would look horrible with black wheels. I would have left the bumper chrome and grill surround, and headlights polished out. It's just got too much black.

This 389 is incredibly sexy!!! If I were still doing the owner / op thing, I could definitely see myself rockin' the hell out of this! The only thing I would change are the rear fenders. I'd go with a set that covers both axles. I'm sure this setup is least likely to get damaged, though.

I hope that customer gets that think ceramic coated. It would definitely make it easier to clean and keep it nicer longer.

It'll look nice for the first 300 miles then it'll be dirty and need a wash. Black looks so j but it's an awfully hard color to keep clean.

"Sinister" is the word I was looking for, when that truck was rolling into frame. It should have been in "Maximum Overdrive" looking that cool! If it was flat or satin black I'd swear it was Batman's truck! "389 Blackout" instead of 300 Blackout, but "BoogieMan" is a cool name and Nancy Pelosi won't try to Ban it!

This is the sickest build you guys have done to date. I love the translucent black chrome pieces, the grille, stacks and all other parts up against the black paint and leaving the chrome wheels really sets everything off! Tint the windows would finish this thing off! Love your guys work you do to big rigs!

That truck is on another level of badass!!! Would have been super sharp to black out the door frames sleeper door and storage fames and powder coated the tank straps… your thoughts?

My oldest brother lives not to far from there, also one of my other Brothers were stationed at Fort Campbell and our Whole family on my mother side live in Knoxville and Wears Valley Tennessee. I don’t live there but I spent a ton of time in Tennessee. My youngest Brother lives in Crossville.

Guys - Why wouldn’t you do black rims, even the translucent black like the stacks and the bumper?! That seems like a no brainer to me, but the truck still looks great. Also, I think this would look a lot better with a flat top sleeper, a solid black deck plate, and five red lights on the back of the cab to match the 10 lights (5 over 5) on the t bar (or put 8 on the t bar- 4 over 4).
It is the coolest all black truck I’ve seen! Very well thought out. The black powder coat is the difference!

It's NOT a super black truck, the wheel's need doing the tank straps need doing and the chrome trime around the doors then its a REAL black truck!
Takes money , But instead of just painting , I would do the straps and the rims In black Chrome , She would look really nice but that's kind of expensive ,

Man I don’t know if I would haul anything but a Blacked out Aluminum Flatbed Decked Trailer.
My parents had a 1980 Chevy Black Customize Van with all Red Interior, four Captain Swivel Chairs a Table between both from and second set of Captain Chairs, then also a Round table for the back bench seat that went into a bed automatically. It had A Pioneer Stereo System, Craiger Rims w/ Douglas grab and go 60s all four the same size, I had that for my Senior year of high school and it those walls could talk there would be a whole lot of pissed of Girls who thought they were the only one. Loll
I EVER win a shitload of money the FIRST place I am going to buy something for myself is the local Peterbilt dealer & tell him or her I want this truck with an Automatic Transmission, sorry I have bum knees and arms no good for shifting... Then head to the trailer dealer and buy a matching covered wagon sliding tarp spread axle...

I was skeptical, but it looks awesome! Love the slight contrast with the transparent black. Glad you kept the wheels polished. Love the rear hub covers, the look almost like bare hubs but cleaner and detailed.
How can I order this same exact truck with a few minor changes?????? I’m looking at a w900 or another 389 but this one here caught my attention

How about giving the the actual scale weight of the rig. And size of fuel tanks. That way I can figure out the actual working weight of the rig. Did you build it with old style brakes or disc. That info would be nice to know when you talk about your trucks. Thanks
