That's a fantastic tip! Heating the metal first ensures a strong bond and better solder flow. Have you found this technique makes a big difference in your projects?
Thank you for such kind words! It’s amazing how creative solutions can transform even the simplest tools. Are you planning to try this out or have other DIY projects in mind? 😊
Sweetie .. what you're doing is fun but you know nothing about soldering! Listen up! Solder is a metal that flows at low Temps but it won't stick to anything that is cold! You must heat up all the areas to be soldered to at least the melting temperature of the solder! The soldering iron you have is good for wires but not enough heat to warm up that bolt and small shaft pieces! And you left all the dirt on the metal it needs to be shiney clean. The dirt acts as a separating wall and won't let anything stick! Do you have a wire that has Flux in it, cause that job might need a little Flux paste?
Thank you so much for sharing such detailed and helpful advice! You’re absolutely right - proper cleaning and sufficient heat are essential for good soldering. I truly appreciate your suggestions and will strive to improve in future projects. Do you have any other tips to make soldering more effective?
The main topic was the process of engraving on metal, but only a short time was spent on it, and most of the time of the video was spent on making a non-functional and purely demonstrative tool!?! If it was not necessary to do this amount of details at all!?! If you directly connected the wire to a small metal sheet and put a cloth on it, it would do the same thing!?!

This is absolutely amazing. This man (assuming he/she is a man or woman or has transitioned to a man/woman) in any case, it is genius. Everyone needs to know about this before it disappears 👏
Thank you for the thoughtful comment! The creativity behind this idea truly knows no bounds. What project do you think this genius invention could inspire you to try?
Thanks for asking! For creating the letters on plastic, there are several methods depending on the materials and tools available. Here's a common approach: Cutting or engraving: You can use a laser cutter or a CNC machine to carve out the letters precisely on the plastic surface. Stenciling or painting: If you're doing it manually, you could create stencils of the letters and spray paint or use acrylic paint to fill them in. This method requires careful masking to keep the edges sharp. Hot stamping or foil transfer: A heat press and foil sheets can transfer a shiny metallic finish to the plastic letters, giving them a more polished look. If you’re looking to create your own letters for a specific project, let me know what type of plastic and tools you have, and I can help guide you through the process! 😊
