so u think if cellphones were around back then that ppl would leave them at home? and I'm just a generation younger than you, so 40 yr old here *judging from ur pic. so yes they are annoying, but don't act holier than thou coz you really only didn't do it coz you didn't have it. Same was during 2004 metallica, ppl had cellphones but were too crap to use for any recording, so they were used instead of lighters during ballads
I was 16 at this time. We couldn't get enough reggae. Was lucky enough to see Burning Spear and Black Uhuru in this lineup as well as later ones. This is peak reggae. Thanks for download
Korrekt.....ein der ganz wenigen deutschen Musikevents die bis heute in der Szene nachhallen. Passte exakt zeitlich in mein Alters und Musikleben....81' da war ich 20....scheixe wie die Zeit vergeht 😊
No distractions from the internet at this time, musician mastered thier craft. This is the real sound of reggae steel pulse, black uhuru, dennis brown, Barrington levy, Peter tosh, burning spear, eeaka mouse, i could go on for days. To many legends, this is one music they could never steal. Can't imitate the islander our voice is to distinguish.
With Robbie Shakespeare and Sly Dunbar at the helm, The Heart of Reggae music, the beat is rich and strong, making Black Uhuru one of the Reggae greats from Jamaica
..yes, yes..big respect for uploading this historic footage of one of reggae’s best..classic lineup with many of the greatest, Mykal Rose , Sly and Robbie, Darryl Thompson!!..fire fire
Thanx! Everything is PERFECT!!! Just True Emotional Reggae Symphony! My first ever listened reggae... and the next is history all-around classic roots reggae!

I don't know a better way to start : Shine Eye Gal, with dub version followed by Plastic Smile !!!! Brings back memories, one of my first discoveries during my "Reggae journey", 30+ years ago .....
Classic , when music was enjoyed properly and musicians were artist not prefabricated, when u would go to a show for an amazing memory instead of looking at the show through a screen on a damn phone
Font partis des plus grands groupes, surtout dans la catégorie des plus influents techniquement. Il y a eu un avant et un apres black uhuru . Vu à Aix en Provence lors de cette tournée 81 . La messe a été dite ce soir là. Salut

The absolute golden age of Reggae music ! Nothing comes close to this period when it comes to Rock Steady, Dub, and Ska ✊️
These were the 1980's, man: ska and rocksteady were already things from the past, by then! Different generation, same vibe! 😀
I was 16 at this time. We couldn't get enough reggae. Was lucky enough to see Burning Spear and Black Uhuru in this lineup as well as later ones. This is peak reggae. Thanks for download
