Wow... Izotope is the best. I can't live without Tonal Balance on my monitor bus.
I used audiolens and not only did it match the eq etc, when I opened up tonal balance, everything was right in the middle for my preferred preset. Aw man. Great deal!

Ozone seems pretty good and easy to use. I was just wondering if you can export the eq curves and turn them into IRs for tone matching guitar stuff basically.
Very cool! I’ve been using Listen Hub by Sonnox to measure and reference tracks from Spotify, but obviously that doesn’t let you do the match thingie in Ozone 10… ! Looking forward to using this…

Isn't that the same if i would use loopback function in my interface, send the sound to daw and play it back 0 volume to let the vst scan the song from streaming platform?
I mean, detach from the master the track that you tracking the sound with so it doesnt loop inside of daw
Technically, yes you can visually "measure" audio with other tools... the idea here is that you can 1) measure and SAVE the reference target 2) quickly load it into Ozone master assistant, where the plugin will not only match loudness and tonal balance but also width, dynamics, etc.
mine don't "see" any sound from spotify on windows 11, and no control under spotify to set the output, so "capture" stays on "waiting for audio" eternally :/

If you want to measure / target references for streaming or outside the DAW, you still want Audiolens :)
What is the software that needs to be downloaded to allow audio to pass from streaming to audiolense, if using iMac? You mentioned it in the video, but not by name

You can compare tonal balance of the songs you capture. It's designed as an add-on for Ozone 10 / Neutron though.
what if i don't have izotope 10? is there another workaround i can use?
Plenty of ways to visually measure songs, as far as saving the targets and then having Ozone master assistant match it easily with the detail that it does... nothing else I know of at this point!

If you’re on a newer Mac, you need the Audio Capture Engine (ACE). It’s a free utility.

Make sure you've updated Ozone to the latest version - 10.2

But u really don't need audiolens if you have Ozone10 right?
cause you can just upload your own targeted References inside there.
It's compatible with Ozone 10 only. You can still import tracks into the reference tool, this will capture any audio you're playing back and create a target for master assistant instantly :)

Oh yes, you do need the ACE utility! It's used for a lot of other audio apps, so I already had it installed. Thanks for the heads up.

and the standard Eq in Ozone9 has it also
