Hi Kevin, are there associated charges apart from the SGD2 when buying SSB using CPF or Cash? Didn't know about the additional SGS charges at 6:25 until you mentioned it. Thanks.
Hi Kelvin... i am keen for SGS... but i dun understand how this yield is "assured"... apparently the yield will only be announced during the auction... what if during the auction, the interest fall below CPF?
Yes, it is possible, but not likely. In the high interest rate environment, the yield will keep going up. Even if it goes down, the drop won't be sharp. So for now, the interest won't fall below CPF OA yet.
Very outdated scheme to join the long queue at the bank to subscribe the t-bill together with the senior citizens who are also queuing to open fixed deposit acct
Each bank has different method. This is dbs method www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/investment-cpfis-transfer-to-oa.html#:~:text=Select%20%22More%20Investment%20Services%22%20under,the%20amount%20to%20be%20transferred.
Should it be 2mths w/o interest in CPF (when u withdraw and when u return back)?
Kelvin , do you have a video using FSMone with CPF?
cool. can we buy SGS by ourselves, or must thru an agent?
Can buy yourself

Cant buy ssb with cpf. For cash, there’s only the $2 transaction fee, nothing else
@@KelvinLearnsInvesting Thanks!
hi Kelvin, thanks for your sharing :)) but can you share the excel how much we can earn the interest after 10 years to us?
Is there still a accrued interest when u withdraw out from OA to invest in SGS. So that is additional % to pay yourself to OA right?
No accrued interest, that only applies to hdb
@@KelvinLearnsInvesting thks
Do u hv to buy SGS/T-bills using OA money only via the bank where your CPF IS account is held?
Yes. Can only do that

Yea, can only that.
Is it better I use my OA to pay off more of my private housing loan since loan interest is also rising.
Hmm, i cant really advice you what to do. For me, I just refinanced my loan and didnt pay off early cos i wanna preserve the cpf oa cash

Maybe can consider dollar averaging with CPFIS
Can do one for T-bill also?
hey kelvin how do we transfer the interest from SGS back to CPF?
Each bank has different method. This is dbs method

Hi Kevin, im not knowledgeable when it comes to to investments, is it wise to ask a financial advisers to help me invest my cpf SA?
Wonder why CPF does not update the computation of interest for its members to that based on on daily balances.
Probably legacy issue
OA is tie to hdb loan
Thanks
Wow, thanks!!
interest in cpf is compounded monthly(even tho paid yearly)...so all ur fundamental calculations collapse
It doesn't collapse. The idea is to earn 3-4% via government bonds, then transfer the interest back to CPF to let it compound at 2.5%.
