I have an odd combo of 2c hair but with a lot of texture (really rough cuticle and moderate porosity). I did the Brazilian blowout in Feb and it was a lifesaver. It didn't cause shedding, saved me money on products and I had less hair loss and breakage when detangling. The Shea Moisture damage conditioner and One n Only Argan curl cream worked so well with my new looser curl pattern. I'm doing another in November.
I didnt know keratin was so permanent, as a natural I'm just going to wait to cut it out. It makes the hair 'too soft' and I've tried to wash it out. I'd rather just perm it. It's a weird 'in between' texture that i thought to try for a week. Never again :) I'll just keep to my regular normal hair and just a blow out for trimming. I live in fl, and it doesnt last past 2 hours because of humidity. Doesnt matter if you're born with straight hair. You're still going to curl up
A stylist on youtube does not recommend this treatment for curly hair. She mentioned that it cannot be removed from the strands. Futhermore our strands are also made of keratin.
@Trina Buchanan i am in a hair group and some persons complain of hair loss when they added number 8 and started using it. So watch how number 8 works with your hair.
I relaxed my hair and it's been a year since. I HV realized I hadsome under processed hair tried a corrective relaxer but it won't just work especially my ends Someone recommend I trim off my ends .and I did but still Please any suggestions to
Yep! We're looking todo that as well, not necessarily with keratin but with an organic straightening treatment we've been looking at for awhile now. But yes it can be done

I live in Florida and is the most humid area. I went natural for 2 yrs then did the keratin treatment and I love it. Humidity gone!

I don’t recommend corrective relaxers. I would deep condition it, strengthen it with a protein treatment until it’s time for your next relaxer
@@twolala1 thank you
Can I transition to natural with keratin treatments? I’m currently relaxed and I don’t want to cut my hair again.
Yes, I did 10 yrs ago with Brazilian Blowout. My hair has been healthy, from waist to tailbone Length ever since.
