Wonderful haul. The Ezekiel line is super good, healthy but expensive, so it's great you got a package of them. Once I tried eggs on my noodles, I never went back. I'm not a huge pasta fan but the eggs take the pasta to a whole new level. You did a great job!
Hi Carolina! 👋🏻 I love your attitude! If I had a daughter I’d want her to be like you. 😀 Keep up the great work you do and happy thanksgiving to you and yours. 😀❤️
I've made carbonara a few times and I love it! May I suggest to cook the pancetta before the spaghetti. Also, try to save more pasta water, you may not need it, but you have it. I've learned to temper the eggs with the pasta water before adding to the pan. For me, it helps prevent scrambling. Carbonara is one of my all time favorites and yours looked great.
I appreciate all those tips! Tempering the eggs is a great idea, I should have thought of that! Thank you for all the tips! I'll be making this again for sure!
Yummy! The squishy sound as you were folding/stirring the pasta at the end with all the goodies in it, made my lips smack! Another great recipe and video.

Great haul. The power packs are great. Love that. Kid's first. You are always so positive 💛 , thankful. I've learned alot watching you cook ty. Happy Thanksgiving 😊
Carbonara, yes! I use bacon because it's not so easy to find pancetta all the time, and use either parmesan or romano, whatever I have on hand. In fact, may even have it tonight!!!
I peeled and sliced my apples from food giveaways. Anyway, first soaked them in lemon juice, rinced and then I put the apples in a heavy pot and added brown, white sugar, vanilla and nuts and then I cooked them until they candied and poured it all into a browned pie shell then covered with another pie crust and baked. So easy and yummy. Your so creative so I would love to see what you do with all those fabulous red apples.
Oh that sounds so good!! Thank you for sharing that with me! The kids have already eaten the first row of those apples! So nice to be able to yell, "If you are still hungry go grab an apple!" Haha
Ohhh yeah, we love carbonara too. Such a filling , delicious dish. We try new things all the time , sometimes it's fantastic and sometimes we just eat it anyway. Hahaha . I just did my first food bank haul on here. I think I should've kept the video shorter but I'm still Learning so much about YT. Trying something new 😉Thank you for sharing lovely 😍

After watching this video, I was shocked to realize I dont think Ive ever had pasta carbonara in my entire life!!! Im a pretty adventurous eater and enjoy many dishes from all over the world. Somehow I managed to never once try pasta carbonara! I assumed it was a tomato based pasta for some reason. After watching you make it and checking out a few recipes for it online, I am planning on making it for dinner sometime next week! I already have all the ingredients except the panceta, which I added to my grocery list. Thank you for introducing me to a new dish!!!❤️ Im glad to see you and your family enjoy brussel sprouts too! They are probably my favorite vegetable and we eat them often at my house. Sometimes I like them cold as a snack even.. I just boil them then refridgerate.. Once cold I sprinkle with salt and dip them in mayo/ketchup mix. Its one of my favorite snacks, lol!
Let me know when you make it!! It was super tasty! I would do half Romano/half Parm though, ours turned out a little sharp, but still very tasty! I've been eating the left over sprouts cold from the fridge! Haha. They really are so good!
I developed dairy , black pepper, cocoa bean( chocolate), brown mustard allergy 4 years ago. so I have had to create/modify a lot of my receipes.I wanted to try Pasta Carbonara so I made it with a dairy free parmesan it was yummy!! Brussels sprouts roasted in the oven and then drizzled with an aged balsamic vinegar are delicious.

Great job on the carbonnara (sp). I did make it once with bacon though. Great grocery haul! You can fry the pancetta first, let it cool. Make the egg sauce in a bigger bowl, add the cooked pasta straight from the pot in and then add the cooled pancetta. The heat from the pasta will cook the egg or you can just fry the whole thing dome more in case you want to make sure it's properly cooked. 😊 P.S. I love the office and watermelon. 🍉

Great haul and video and with some humor 😀!! Have you ever watched Jammerrill do the mega mama freezer meals? She's a family of 13 and a friend of Becky's! God Bless and keep on being your Awesome self !! 😊
I know I said it b4 but gonna say it again, I just luv ur hauls from the food bank. I especially luv when u have things that are maybe unusual or just not seen that much. Ur channel has really grown so much. Congratulations 👏 🎊 💐 🥳 Keep up the great work.
Oh my gosh Waffle House! We live In Oklahoma and love those scattered, smothered, and covered hash browns. You go girl with the new recipes. You are an inspiration! The leftover turkey with the tomato basil bread with melted cheese makes a great sandwich. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!
Oh that would be a great sandwich! You could use the cranberry sauce as the spread for it....oh yum! Husband and I were just talking about smothered, covered and diced hash browns! Haha. I wish we had one here.
All our store pumpkins get picked up and taken to feed Dairy Cow's to keep them disease free . Wonder if that help me? I made home made pumpkin pie with cream cheese cake on top so good . Then pumpkin cranberry bread, pumpkin log roll. And cookies with walnuts Christmas will be different but I'm changing to what we have now learning from your teachings. Times are very hard and Oregon raised the gas more almost a full $6.00 a gallon but over that if you drive truck.
Wow! Your gas is at $6 a gallon? I just got it at Costco here for $3.69 yesterday. It took forever for them to lower the price under $4 here. but $6 is crazy and you aren't that far away from me. All that baking sounds so fun!! I need to do some Christmas baking already! Thanks Sandy!
I love cabbage it's something I grew up eating my whole life. But I don't know why I just can't get past the bitter taste in Brussel sprouts my sister and I have consistently tried to make them different ways we're trying to get ourselves to like them but we both don't know what to do about taking away that bitter taste that they have
I really enjoy your channel. I go to my churches food pantry it's once a week and you can pick 7 items per family member alot of times there's really not anything to get but I find your videos helpful thank you
So I have to admit… I questioned you at first… not judged but questioned.. and I have to say I was wrong! Todays haul really flipped me! Some hauls are really small but others are like please take more! More! More! So much food goes to waste and would go to waste if you didn’t take advantage of the opportunity! And you are showing ppl who may not usually have these items how you can use them! So thank you! And I hope your channel grows! In my area our food bank I’m rural and it’s the local church… it’s just what ppl drop off maybe the occasional grocery store but we only have one so… I didn’t see how abundant other communities could be the food items.
Thank you for being honest and telling me that! I can see how some people would question my hauls, when their experience with food banks is them running out of food and not enough to go around. I would shop differently at mine, if that was our case. I've seen first hand how much food gets thrown out at the end of the week. It hurts my heart. Thank you for sticking around and giving me and my channel a chance!
I make that pasta carbonara once in awhile. It’s delicious! I airways use bacon because that’s what I have. I was worried about scrambling the eggs my first time, too! Hope your family liked it!
This year I have needed help with food and I have no way to get to the food bank we do not have busses or anything like that where I live in Texas.. I called for help and all they told me was we do not deliver. I don't have a car and I don't have friends or family anymore. I was out of work due to me dying twice and had to have 6 stents put in My legs and out of work for 5 months. Food Stamps office kept having me get more paperwork and then kept denying me. With no Income. I finally got back to work and they laid off my whole team week before Thanksgiving. I had potato's and onions for Thanksgiving.. I wish I could have gotten help like you have in your area
I did try that they told me to walk to the nearest bus stop that is 5 miles away.. I literally lol.. I tried to explain to that I was not physically able to do that. But on the Bright side of things today I was at the hospital (surgery check up) and they are going to help me. I enjoy watching your videos I am older than you but we are a lot alike.
The sheer volume of different types of breads available in the USA is mind blowing! I am wondering if that would contribute to the number of items being donated because customers can not decide what to buy or just simply can never buy that many options. Such an over production

That tomato basil bread would get some fresh mozzarella, a few spinach leaves, a sprinkle of salt and go on my panini maker!
Oh that would be so good!! Maybe a pesto for the spread...yummm!!
Great things you got
Yes!! Thank you Sandra!
I love carbonara pasta.. I use chicken in mine also.. The egg makes it so creamy
Chicken would definitely be a good addition! I was amazed the eggs formed a sauce and not scrambled eggs! Haha
Great haul and video and with some humor 😀!! Have you ever watched Jammerrill do the mega mama freezer meals? She's a family of 13 and a friend of Becky's! God Bless and keep on being your Awesome self !! 😊
Yes I have watched her!! I'm in love with her kitchen!! Thank you so much!
@Mama Baird's Homestead Yes me too, Dream kitchen for sure!! Your welcome!
I love your humor just as much as I love your cooking! 🤣🤣That what she said 😂
Haha! Thank you! Gotta laugh!
I know I said it b4 but gonna say it again, I just luv ur hauls from the food bank. I especially luv when u have things that are maybe unusual or just not seen that much.
Ur channel has really grown so much. Congratulations 👏 🎊 💐 🥳 Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much Deborah!! That really means a lot!!!
Caroline I ❤ love your vibe and content! You’re getting better🥰😉
Thank you so much!! I've been really trying to learn and improve my videos!! Thanks for telling me I'm doing better! Yay! Thank you!
I am always looking for different things to eat due to the restricted diet I'm on being a diabetic and on dialysis so this is very yummy
Oh yeah..If you add olive oil to your pasta it won't stick.
Good tip! Thank you!
what can i use in place of pancetta, i think thats too fatty for me (health issues)
i know u said bacon im looking for a leaner meat, maybe like a lean ham???
You could totally do a lean ham or candian bacon would be good.
Great Haul good job on the meals and ideas!
Thanks so much!
Look almost most 10k
AHHHHH!!!! I can't believe it!!
But I don't know why I just can't get past the bitter taste in Brussel sprouts my sister and I have consistently tried to make them different ways we're trying to get ourselves to like them but we both don't know what to do about taking away that bitter taste that they have
I know what you mean. They aren't something I usually choose to get. Haha!
I really enjoy your channel. I go to my churches food pantry it's once a week and you can pick 7 items per family member alot of times there's really not anything to get but I find your videos helpful thank you
Thank you so much!! I'm glad I can be helpful!
I use Ezekial bread w tuna salad. Delsh.
I'll give that a try!
They did love it! I'll be making it more often! Glad I just went for it even though I was nervous!!
I LOVE Ezekial products. Those are so expensive but a good alternative for gluten SENSITIVITY. DONT use if you have celiac.
The longer the noodle the louder the slurp…… that’s what she said 😮😂
Haha!!
I think I would have skipped the pasta and made scrambled eggs. Fun to try a new recipe though. Thanks for the video.
I always boil my Brussel Sprouts for 10 min then throw them in the oven
I bet that helps a lot! I'll do that next time! Thank you Lily!
@@mamabairds your very welcome
@@mamabairds you can also salt the water
I would have tried the panchetta with the brussel sprouts and garlic!
Oh that would have been good too!
Ya should've used the little potatoes from the hot food section into the pancetta n it would've been a breakfast bowl
Oh that would have been a good idea!!
Hi there! You have a great speaking/advertising voice! Reach out to more companies with a voice sample for advertisements. 👍🏾
Oh thank you!! I was super nervous for my first sponsor too! Glad it came out well!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!
I'm so sorry my friend. Have you called 211? That is a good resource to see if there is anything else around you! Hope you get some help soon!
You have a great voice for ads you should consider it and I love your channel.
Aw thank you Tracy!

The sheer volume of different types of breads available in the USA is mind blowing! I am wondering if that would contribute to the number of items being donated because customers can not decide what to buy or just simply can never buy that many options. Such an over production
#MamaBairdWatchAlong ❤
Soo happy to find an easy and can be made gluten friendly, carbonara, it's my absolute favourite ❤
Thank you my friend!
