Love these Oxwagon hunts. I feel the same about the Australian outback where you could be the only human for hundreds of kilometers with all the stars at night it's priceless.
You may have noticed that we 'skipped' an episode... Part 23 is coming, it is just delayed because of some unreleased products that haven't been launched yet. BUT keep an eye out and make sure you're subscribed, because it's going to be a good one!!
Good to hear the farmer was able to keep up the feed over the drought. Thanks for another Oxwagon Diary Matt absolutely love them. I agree with your last comments, I live and work in the bush, it's a special place to be!
I was raised on a farm in Zim. Like most farm kids I have hunted and fished almost since I could walk! I am now living in the uk where I have been for 20 years . I still remember the sounds, smells and sights you described...especially the cry of nightjars..like it was yesterday. I miss this so much and really look forward to and appreciate your videos, especially the ox wagon series....Africa, it’s just got to be the best place on earth and once it’s in your blood there is simply no escape. God bless you buddy and that beautiful place.
Gotta love the out doors. Fresh air, and the rest bring you alive. Glad you are making the series. I love the aero press too, makes the worlds best coffee. 🕊👍
I've cowboyed all my 24,060 workin days here in B.C., Canada, lots of that on my own.Let me say there are few things better for ones sole than to spend time alone. Foremost for you there's no having to wait your turn for a shot but that has it's downside in that all the misses are yours and you have to own them. Learn to appreciate your best friend. Cheers, Billy
Matt, great to see a video from you. Thanks for taking us along to Oxwagon for some shooting. It's wonderful to see that things have greened up there and that the drought is finally over. Glad to hear that our donations helped the farmers through this difficult time. Our airgun community is awesome! Stay well, I look forward to your upcoming videos. 👍😊 Geo from the USA
In the words of the singer Appel "ek is jagter, ek het my siel in die bos verloor en onder die volmaan opgespoor, vat my bosveld toe" love your videos Matt, can't wait to get outdoors and enjoy nature once this dang lockdown is over💪
I have watched all of the best shooting and hunting vid's Matt and yours are absolutely the best of all.Watched most of them several times. I'm addicted. Bring us more.....monkey,baboons,dassies, Australia. Love it all. Thanks,Butch
Love, love, love, FX! Just incredible pcp air rifles. My .30 cal is an incredible beast! Wonder what itd do on them quarrys lol just incredible! Sta slinging that sweet air rifle lead! Ed da snippin backyard pro man💥👇💪😎
Really good video Matt,;..most enjoyable to see all the different countryside views. I like the rifle shooting too, both the Air and the Powder,..all great shooting enjoyment. I always look forward to the next edition.
Another fantastic video 👌💥💥thank you for taking the time to make these. I’m not a hunter and prolly never will be. But that’s not the point. I know why you do it and I respect your ethics. I’ve learned lots by watching you over the years. Cheers!
Very cool guys. I'm late to these videos so I didn't know there was a fundraiser, but very proud of this audience that they chipped in to help the farm. It's my firm belief that good hunters preserve more than they ever take and I think this goes a long way towards proving that idea true.
How on earth can anyone dislike this. Than you so much for all your effort you put into your videos. I truly appreciate your channel. Your fellow hunting /reloading South African.
We all have our favorite spots. For me is my family farm. The hunting is decent, the hunting pressure isn’t bad, and we’ve got most everything we’re allowed to hunt. But the trigger time is really a minor thing. Getting out and enjoying what our creators made for us is special. I feel your pain on the lockdown. But life will start coming back again.
Man I can only dream of having access to a location like that. Fresh air, open country side, some good hunting, and meals around a camp fire. My ideal holiday destination if it was possible.
Thank you Matt! For the time you invest in filming the videos for us. Is always a joy to see the wonderful environment from Africa. Cheers from California mate.
I love your passion for this stuff Matt, it's infectious. Keep up the good work, this is becoming one of my favourite series on any medium. Best of luck, stay healthy and safe.
Awesome video Matt , this lockdown makes us all crazy in South Africa . Glad to see you enjoy the outdoors so much , can't wait to purchase my scope from Element Optics for my tikka 260 .
Another fine video matt. Can't wait for part 23. Yes, your campfire ending took me back to my Kudu hunt in Alldays, SA nine years ago. It was a hunt of a lifetime. You are surely blessed to be able to live and hunt in South Africa. Currently over run in Ground Squirrels here in Alabama. Ours are about half the size of yours. Keeping their numbers down with my Wildcat Compact.
I had a bit of a laugh and personally would advise against not using a shooting mat. Shooting goats in the Flinders Ranges many years ago I was laying on the ground in shorts waiting for a good shot and had the misfortune to have a bull ant crawl up into the crotch of my shorts. Needless to say when I stood up this upset the ant and it started biting. My nuts were sore for days... BTW Another great Video Cheers
I stumbled on your videos while deciding on a new air rifle, and I am amazed how much they connect with me. My woods in Maine, USA couldn’t seem more different than a lot of the vistas and plains in your videos, but your connection to the land is the same as mine. True hunters the world over really are the salt of the earth. I’m happy to subscribe, and can’t wait to watch more of your videos! 🙏
Same. I bought what I thought was a good air rifle from Bass Pro, it certainly wasn't cheap. It shot terrible and I couldn't stand it, returned it and I got online and started looking for high quality air rifles and learned about pcp guns through a couple of different air gunners on youtube, but Matt's really stood out and he's the only one that I still follow on any sort of regular basis.
I can't help but be jealous of what you're able to do and being able to make somewhat of a living doing so. I'd be more then willing to drop everything I have now and just head out to the middle of nowhere on a ranch just to knock out a few critters and rough it. City life and the lock down has me jittery and jumpy. What I'd give just to have a week under the stars, some camping gear, a week's rations and a few rifles.
thank you matt for all your films been watching for years now and love them all thank you for the time and effort that you put into the channel im from the uk could you poss do some with sub 12ft lbs rifles thanks again take care stay safe
Super jealous of that setup as a guy who just ordered a $300 .25 PCP with an $80 scope and a Chinese *H A N D P U M P* I ordered it with the fantasy that I'd be able to shoot like you are here...Something tells me I'm just being optimistic/unrealistic. Perhaps one day I'll win the lottery or suddenly become successful...not likely. Despite the obvious difference in gear from pros like you, I'm still wicked excited. I may be a PCP pellet peasant but I'm still down to shoot some pheasant!

Love these Oxwagon hunts. I feel the same about the Australian outback where you could be the only human for hundreds of kilometers with all the stars at night it's priceless.
I love being out in the Flinders Ranges, the town I grew up in was Half hour away and you felt like there was no one for thousands of miles(kms).
I am more interest longerange shot and discuse about anything affecting accuracy.

I love this channel. It’s amazing how informative and entertaining some UA-cam creators are. It beats turning on the television any day.

This breaks the monotomy of the stupid lockdown. Made my day.
Outside in a beautiful surrounding full off so much, we take for granted, and on light pollution. Heaven 👍
