One of my favourite episodes of season 6! It was great that we got back to Xena & Gabrielle adventures again after dragging Eve along for a few episodes without having any particular reason for it. Also, I loved the darker, horror aspects of this episode and the subtle mention of Hope tying the seasons together and showing how Gabrielle is still vulnerable and haunted by her past even though she's almost as skilled as Xena now.
Both actresses had worked in terrible weather filming the series, but they said while filming this one it was extremely cold, windy, rainy and muddy!
I was hoping it would show the part were Gabrielle said she wanted to be buried with Xena and her family such a touching moment.
Since she meet xena in Gabriella hometown her bond with Xena grow a lot and she change over the years watching xena so she pick up some few things from xena
Maybe the cave scene will be the next one!

One of the better episodes of season 6. Although very similar to The Price.
That’s what I thought it was at first! But then I realized Gabs hair was long back then and Xena had the classic-chakram. This ep is as good but I kinda missed Evil Xena-the way she wanted to totally demolish The Horde😂

One of the most intense episodes of the series with an enemy that is truly frightening for the simple fact there is nothing to reason with. The acting, direction, music and cinematography are all so on point in this one

The Abyss from the final season.
I've always wondered where they were supposed to be. Last episode they were in Northern Africa. Is this supposed to be Sub-Saharan Africa or did they get back to Europe just in time for the Norse trilogy?
The geography was always a bit whacky on the show but I think this episode was probably supposed to be back in Europe. They usually made it pretty clear with the costuming etc. when they were in more exotic locations, this episode looked more like standard Xena to me

so the body could float down the stream and they could fish it out later on the banks and cook and eat the carcass most likely
She was wounded, she'd had drowned and they'd have been able to pick up a nicely poached Gabrielle at the bottom of the waterfall for dinner.

Gabrielle is using very short range weapons. I doubt if she could kill someone with them unless she puts some muscle in it and breaks the guys neck
