The Sandbox has been in the works since 2011, so if you think the sale of NFT's will ever be open to the general public anytime soon they probably wont. We live in the age of never ending perpetual alpha and beta games, so it will likely never be "finished." I believe these companies intentionally limit the amount of content creators to prevent an over saturation of their marketplaces, thus maximizing their earnings and reducing storage capacity. I don't believe they will ever allow the general public to sell NFT's in their marketplace. This is why many have gone to websites like Fiverr, to sell assets to people who are a part of these creator funds. Of course this is only profitable if you live in a 3rd world country.

Hi. You know not everyone can upload their asset on marketplace for sale, right? You should be in artist fund I think otherwise you can just use your creation yourself at your game. It is possible that I am wrong, I would be happy if you make a specific video about uploading assets for sale in market place or opensea ,... with details. Thank you very much
I believe you are right that we can't upload if we are not in the artist fund. Would really appreciate an updated video to see if there is actually any way we can monetize our creations
As I know it, now you can only upload your work if you registered for the creator fund which is not available at the moment, but in the future everyone will be able to sell their works not just the members of the artist fund.

I suppose the appeal is with very exclusive releases (from prominent brands or artists), even more so if they're rare (if they mint a limited amount). Extremely speculative nonetheless!

Im not sure that you have to be a member but I think it is way easier to sell your asset then. Anyway, Im creating my own assets in VoxEdit and I list them on opensea as a token ERC-1155 and I think my assets will be compatible with the Sandbox standards.

yo man you should have went to the full process to list your asset on market place, lot of people getting issue to the end ( like me ) where the final step doesn't work .. just do a complete guide ..
What problem did you have? I suggest checking out their tutorials on Voxedit. There are certain dimensions limitations that you can upload/list NFTs with, because they don't want overly complicated polygons (they could cause lag or something). It's mentioned in their official tutorials (they're only like 3-5 minutes long)!

It's hard to say, but the main benefit of NFTs is that they will allow people actual ownership of digital goods/real estate, versus in-game items being hosted on and owned by gaming company servers! Plus, in the future, like Snoop Dogg already did, there could very well be more social events and opportunities on platforms like Sandbox and Decentraland!
Entertainment. Plus these play to earn games seem to be a hit in developing nations where anyone can access and build and take a product to market for real world currency. Kinda huge!

For specifically the Sandbox Marketplace, I don't believe Polygon is supported, but it is on OpenSea, should you decide to list any NFTs there!
