I'm Canadian and I support your decision to hide out here. ;) I think I have a lot of trouble separating art and business, so this was very helpful to me. Thank you. Also, loved those lines .. as sad as they were.
Kat i'm rewatching all your NaNoWriMo videos to prepare myself for my first year of doing it this year 😂 i'm so glad you're also doing NaNoWriMo 2k16, and i hope when you said you're using one of your old stories and revising it this year, that it's this one because it's AWESOME. then again, i'm sure anything you write is fantastic. i love you and your videos ❤️❤️
AHH NOT THE CANDY IRS IT'S ALL MY FAULT. Seriously though, I made you my writing buddy halfway into NaNoWriMo so I could use your word count as motivation to make my word count (didn't work). BUT THEN YOU BUDDIED ME BACK AND MY TERRIBLE WORD COUNT IS MESSING UP YOUR CANDY COUNT! (Surprisingly enough, this has motivated me to catch up more than anything else so far.) Also, love your videos, you are so funny and your story sounds great!
Kat I am right there with you. Writing is everything to me and I would love to one day get published too. This video is very helpful. Oh Congrats on your NaNo marriage!!! Wishing you Thousands and Thousands of words.
I agree with you (and share the same dream with you; wanting to be able to write for a living). However, the thought of there even being a possibility for me to get published has been on my mind more this year than previous years. For once, I'm actually writing in my native language instead of English, which means that I can actually send my edited book to a publishing house here, instead of having to go through the lengthy process of getting an international agent etc. Not a priority, however.
Watching all the NanoWriMo vlogs to get in the mood for this year :D
Me too!

OH MY GOD after that one line and i'm CRYING!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! POOR SARAH!!!
I think there are plenty of stories out there that haven't sold as much as they deserve.
A good story is bound to sell. That is all.
Ooh registering at Amazon! I wonder if we actually could, or if anyone would actually buy us stuff. Thatd be so legit!!

Haha the only reason I want to publish is so I have an excuse to keep writing as much as I want without people going, "huh? go get a real job!"

Stay in the present moment :) #KatGivesGreatAdvice
Yes, you shouldn't compare your behind the scenes work to their highlight reel!
Ugh, I have come to an impass in my story. My story maybe over like candy time. I hit hulu hard tonight.
